Marx Brothers hijinks and hilarity reign supreme as the award-winning Actors' NET of Bucks County presents the musical comedy, Groucho: A Life in Revue.

The world's largest solo theatre festival concluded its season with an awards ceremony held on Sunday, November 23, 2014 at Theatre Row in New York City. It was the closing night for a ten-week season of solo theatre and the fifth anniversary of the festival, a resident company at Theatre Row.

terraNOVA Collective is now accepting online submissions for the 2014-15 Groundbreakers Playwright Group. The Groundbreakers Playwrights Group will run from September 2014 - February 2015.

terraNOVA Collective has announced the 2014 Groundworks New Play Series at Cherry Lane Studio this June. The 2014 Groundworks New Play Series features the 6 new plays developed through the 2014 Groundbreakers Playwrights Group, and 2 new soloNOVA ARTS Workshops. This year's playwrights work has been produced or developed with numerous prestigious theatres including The Public, Joe's Pub, New York Theatre Workshop, The Old Vic, Roundabout Theatre Company, Rattlestick Playwrights Theatre, Edward F. Albee Foundation, Sundance Theatre Lab and Lincoln Center.

The Boomerang Theatre Company will present their annual ROCK-N-ROLES new play event on Saturday April 5th at 8pm. Six new short plays inspired by great rock songs will be presented, along with live musicians. The event will take place at TheatreLab, 357 W 36th Street in New York City. terraNOVA Collective has announced the six talented playwrights selected, from a record-breaking number of submissions, for the 2014 Groundbreakers Playwrights Group, a unique playwriting intensive for these individuals to collaborate and cultivate work, meeting once a week for 18 weeks. The artists are ALEXANDRA COLLIER (We Play for the Gods), STEVE DiUBALDO (Coyote and the Origin of Death), SUKARI JONES (The River Is Me), BOO KILLEBREW (co-founder of CollaborationTown), JORDAN SEAVEY (co-Artistic Director CollaborationTown), and MFONISO UDOFIA (2013 Sundance Theatre Lab Resident Playwright and a 2013 Summer Yale Resident).

Back for its sixth summer, the Fordham Alumni Company will present six theatre and dance-pieces, each with a connection to Fordham Alumni. From a pool of over thirty applicants, these works were granted rehearsal space and time, as well as a culminating workshop performance at Fordham's Lincoln Center campus. All performances will be presented at the Veronica Lally Kehoe Theater at Fordham College at Lincoln Center (113 W. 60th St., NYC). Admission is free. Flux Theatre Ensemble will present the World Premiere of Johnna Adams' (The Angel Eaters Trilogy with Flux; 2011 recipient of the Princess Grace Award) Sans Merci, April 26-May 17 at the 4th Street Theatre (83 East 4th Street between 2nd Avenue and Bowery). The production will be directed by Heather Cohn (NYIT Outstanding Direction Award nominee for The Lesser Seductions of History) and will feature Rachael Hip-Flores (Anyone But Me webseries; Hearts Like Fists with Flux), Susan Ferrara* (Peasant with KEF Productions), and Alisha Spielmann* (Blast Radius with Gideon Productions; The Runner Stumbles with Retro Productions).
