The annual Orlando Cabaret Festival, hosted by Mad Cow Theatre will feature two Broadway acts on this years stage. The festival will feature more than 40 singers and comedians during its run from April 30th to May 16th.

Los Angeles' Reprise Theatre Company today announced it's 2010-2011 season, which features three classic American musicals at UCLA's Freud Playhouse: 'They're Playing Our Song' (September 28 to October 10, 2010), with music by Marvin Hamlisch, lyrics by Carole Bayer Sager and book by Neil Simon, and starring Jason Alexander, the company's Artistic Director; Alan Jay Lerner and Frederick Loewe's 'Gigi' (February 15 to 27, 2011); and Cole Porter's 'Kiss Me, Kate' (May 10 to 22, 2011), with book by Samuel and Bella Spewack.

The A.C.T. Young Conservatory proudly presents the world premiere of Beautiful Child: The Music of Rufus Wainwright, featuring a book written by Craig Slaight, direction by A.C.T. Associate Artist Domenique Lozano, musical direction by Jane Hammett, and choreography by Christine Mattison. The 'disarmingly beautiful' (The New York Times) music of Rufus Wainwright takes center stage as A.C.T.'s Young Conservatory continues its exploration of modern composers in this theatrical tribute to the acclaimed singer-songwriter.

Ravinia Festival celebrates its patrons with Customer Appreciation Day on Saturday, May 22, during a day filled with discounts and the chance to purchase added seating to some sold-out pavilion concerts, as well as promotions and samples from some of Ravinia's supporters.

In honor of Margaret Wise Brown's 100th Birthday, GPR Records (Glen Roven, Peter Fitzgerald, Richard Cohen, artistic directors) will release a live recording of the concert based on Brown's two best selling children's books Goodnight Moon and Runaway Bunny.

Tony- and Emmy award-winning actress Cherry Jones joins Keith Lockhart, the Boston Pops, and the Tanglewood Festival Chorus, and special guests-actors Robert De Niro, Morgan Freeman, and Ed Harris-for the world premiere performance of The Dream Lives On: A Portrait of the Kennedy Brothers-the centerpiece of the Boston Pops' 125th anniversary season celebration-on May 18, at 8 p.m. (repeated on May 19), at Symphony Hall in Boston, MA. Cherry Jones, who can currently be seen in the hit TV show 24 as President Allison Taylor, has appeared in Oceans Twelve, The Village, Signs, and Cradle Will Rock, and in guest appearances on television shows including 'The West Wing' and 'Frasier.' Ms. Jones won Tony awards in 1995 for her leading role in The Heiress and in 2005 for her leading role in Doubt, and won an Emmy award in 2009 for her role in 24. The world premiere performances of The Dream Lives On are the centerpiece of the Boston Pops 125th anniversary season, May 4-June 20.

Beowulf Alley Theatre will present a staged reading of Warren G. Bodow's play, Fronting the Order on Tuesday, May 11, 2010 at 7:15 p.m. Doors open at 6:45 p.m. Admission is by donation.
