Entertain. Illuminate. Educate. As Park City Performing Arts Foundation has transitioned into Park City Institute, its mission has broadened. This season at The Eccles Center illustrates PCI's efforts to not just entertain, but also to educate and to illuminate. PCI sets the tone for a 'thinky' Eccles Center season with Edward Snowden opening the line-up on December 5 (via closed video feed). As always, the season includes an eclectic mix of live dance, music, authors, speakers, family shows, spectacles, up-and-comers and well-established legends.

Los Angeles' favorite clown troupe Four Clowns, still buzzing from the success of their recent award-winning Hollywood Fringe Festival engagement, teams up with the Shakespeare Center of Los Angeles for an all new take on one of the Bard's most popular works. Four Clowns presents Hamlet will run for eight performances only, Fridays and Saturdays from tonight, September 18 - October 10, 2015, all shows at 8:00pm.

September marks the launch of Broadway Inspirational Voices (BIV) new podcast series geared to highlight the amazing talent and voices that make up the incredible choir. The series start with none other than BIV's director and founder Michael McElroy. The podcast is hosted by Drama Desk winner, voiceover veteran and choir member Steve French.

A radical new portrait of Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart has been commissioned by Royal Northern Sinfonia, to reflect what they and their Music Director Lars Vogt see as the 'true' face of a composer we all think we know.  “Somehow we've come to think of his music as pretty, brilliant and maybe even a little two-dimensional,” says Vogt, lamenting what he calls the 'chocolate box' idea of Mozart, “But in fact the more you listen to him the more you realise that we've got him wrong. That music is often dramatic, daring, edgy and, yes, dark, and those qualities must have been there in the man.”

Yesterday, Wilton's Music Hall officially reopened the public following four years of repair works to secure the long-term future of the building. Get out your boogie shoes and head to the disco with the mega-musical Saturday Night Fever on stage at the Ogunquit Playhouse from September 23 to October 25. This high-energy show features the Bee Gees electrifying chart-topping score along with astounding and dazzling choreography by Broadway choreographer Richard Hinds. The stage musical is based on the 1977 film that became a cultural phenomenon and cemented the Bee Gees as disco era icons and catapulted John Travolta to mega-stardom.
