If you are already dreading the hustle of the upcoming holidays, The Royal Conservatory of Music is the perfect place to relax and gather strength for the holidays as well as to de-stress in the New Year. There is variety of concerts to choose from in December and January, either for yourself or to give as presents: Tallis Scholars offer a concert of Christmas music; birthdays of Oscar Peterson, Frank Sinatra, and Yehudi Menuhin are celebrated; and one can bring their entire family to the first performance of the Family Concerts series, Routes of Andalucia.

I forgot how funny THE GOOD WIFE is. How quick, and how cheeky. This is a fun show. The hour goes really fast when you're enjoying all the side-eye/eye-rolls/grimaces that these characters dish out to each other, whether they're mother and daughter, nearly-friends, or scheming political partners.

It's racist and homophobic. Mart Crowley's The Boys in the Band is full of gay stereotypes and cringe worthy slang. It is politically incorrect in nearly every way.
But, it's history.
Boys is a snapshot into the past. A comedic, albeit bleak, look back to 1968 - before Stonewall and the major turning points in the gay rights movement. An amalgamation of nearly every negative connotation of what it meant to be a part of the gay community, Boys throws everything out like a spread of packages on the table.

Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts (LCPA) and the New York Philharmonic announce a gala fundraiser for the new David Geffen Hall by presenting a star-studded concert on Thursday, December 3, in the hall, celebrating the music of Frank Sinatra on the occasion of his 100th birthday. Earlier this year music and media executive David Geffen gave a $100 million gift to Lincoln Center to lead a complete renovation of its largest concert hall, which now bears his name.
