The Drama League has announced the Winter 2015 Season of events at the Drama League Theater Center in Tribeca.

On February 2, 2015, Square One Publishers releases Black Broadway: African Americans on The Great White Way by six-time Tony Award winning producer and author Stewart F. Lane (La Cage aux Folles, A Gentleman's Guide..., War Horse).

The list of final 2014 Broadway Global Producer of the Year nominees are the who's who list for Broadway investors, each making changes in global arts.

The Third Annual Workshop was held last week in Beijing for the China Collaborative Innovation Center for Theatre Arts Management (CCICTAM). Theatre management leaders and experts from around the world gathered to exchange ideas and discuss future cooperation and collaboration. BroadwayWorld brings you photos from the event below!

The American Theatre Wing held its annual gala last night, September 15 at The Plaza Hotel (Fifth Avenue at Central Park South), honoring Dame Angela Lansbury, who has served as Honorary Chairman of the American Theatre Wing Board of Trustees since 2010. On Tuesday, June 3, 2014 City Parks Foundation (CPF) held the City Parks Foundation Gala presented at SummerStage in Central Park, an annual fundraising event that supports CPF's free year-round arts, sports, education and community-building programs. Just last night, Drama Desk and Tony Award winner Laura Benanti ('The Sound of Music Live!', Gypsy, Women On The Verge of a Nervous Breakdown) hosted the 59th Annual Drama Desk Awards at The Town Hall (123 W. 43rd Street). Big winners for the night included Audra McDonald, Bryan Cranston, Jessie Mueller, and Neil Patrick Harris and Jefferson Mays- who tied for Outstanding Actor in a Musical. On Monday evening, BroadwayWorld.com was proud to watch its CEO and Founder, Robert Diamond, receive the 2014 Theatre Museum Award for Excellence in Arts Education. That same evening, Fathom Entertainment received an award for Excellence in Theatre History Preservation, which was presented to their new CEO, John Rubey.

The mission of The Theatre Museum is to preserve, protect, and perpetuate the legacy of the theatre. It is the first and only chartered non profit museum dedicated to the history of Theatre. Since 1995 The Awards for Excellence have recognized individuals and organizations for their contribution to theater arts, education, theater history and preservation.

Tony and Olivier Award winning producers, Stewart F. Lane and Bonnie Comley hosted a dinner in honor of the 2014-2015 Directors Project fellows on Tuesday, May 13th. The Directors Project fellows are in New York city for an intensive week-long orientation program which includes a series of events and opportunities to speak with theatre professionals. Wide Eyed Productions presents Wide Eyed Winks, A Season of Development at Wide Eyed Productions, February 27th through August 28th, 2014 - the last Thursday of every month at 7:30 p.m.!

This season predicates future seasons by workshopping and reading plays to excite and invigorate theatergoers and the production company alike. Through a series of readings open to the public, Wide Eyed Productions aims to strike a chord within the community.

The new painting by Max Ferguson touches on his interest in family. A young mother is viewed overlooking a vast horizon of water. It is an image that speaks of tranquility and optimism. Ferguson posses the rare ability to depict very intimate moments with a pervasive appeal. At times it's as if the more personal the piece, the more universal his message.
