BRIC Celebrate Brooklyn! Festival is pleased to present a free concert headlined by beloved Egyptian singer Hakim on Friday, July 15. Hakim replaces Algerian rocker Rachid Taha, who is no longer able to perform due to unanticipated travel issues. The concert, which takes place at the Prospect Park Bandshell (9th St. & Prospect Park West) is free to the public (with a suggested $5 contribution at the gate) and begins at 7:30 P.M. with an opening performance by London-based Ethiopian three-piece Krar Collective.

The national tour stop of MOTOWN at the Capitol Theatre is another in a series of historic events for Broadway in Utah (recently dubbed Broadway at the Eccles, after its new home).
