Three Weeks of Beethoven returns for a second year at the Houston Symphony this month, featuring Beethoven's second, third, eighth and ninth symphonies. In musical contrast, Superheroes at the Symphony!, and An Evening with Matthew Morrison will round out the last weekend of the month.

On Monday, May 2, 2016, The New York Pops will present its 33rd birthday gala, celebrating the revolutionary collaborations of Alain Boublil and Claude-Michel Schonberg, the songwriting team behind Les Miserables, Miss Saigon, and more. Serving as Honorary Co-Chairs for the event are musical theatre legends Sir Cameron Mackintosh and Patti LuPone.

One thing I can always count on when I go to a National Symphony Orchestra (NSO) Pops concert featuring music of the Great White Way - and perhaps beyond - is that the accomplished musicians and their exceptional conductor Steven Reineke will give it all the energy, vigor and verve it deserves. This was certainly the case on Friday night as the orchestra and guest vocalists Darren Criss and Betsy Wolfe explored a bit of the current Broadway repertoire.

New York Pops to Perform THE MUSIC OF JOHN WILLIAMS: FROM SPIELBERG TO STAR WARS, 4/8

On April 8, 2016, at 8:00PM, The New York Pops will take center stage at Carnegie Hall's Stern Auditorium/Perelman Stage in The Music of John Williams: From Spielberg to Star Wars. Music Director and Conductor Steven Reineke will lead the orchestra in a celebration of the work of legendary film composer John Williams, with a strong focus on his collaborations with Academy Award-winning director Steven Spielberg. The orchestra will breathe life into some of cinema's most iconic scores, including selections from E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial, Raiders of the Lost Ark, and Jurassic Park. The concert will also include a look at Williams' seminal scoring of the Star Wars films, from their beginnings in the 1970s to today's  The Force Awakens.

Rhode Island Philharmonic Music School to Present Two Youth Concerts This Winter

The Rhode Island Philharmonic Youth Wind Ensembles (RIPYWE) presents their first full concert of the season Tuesday, January 26 at 7:15 pm at Sapinsley Hall, Rhode Island College. The concert will include RIPYWE Senior Division, under the direction of Eric Hewitt, and RIPYWE Junior Division, under the direction of Dr. David Neves. Darren Criss to Step in for Jeremy Jordan at TSO's ON BROADWAY Concert

Due to a scheduling issue, vocalist Jeremy Jordan will be unable to perform with the Toronto Symphony Orchestra (TSO) as part of On Broadway on March 29 and 30, 2016, as previously announced. The TSO is pleased to announce that Darren Criss-well known for his role on the popular TV series, Glee-will be stepping in for Mr. Jordan.

On Friday, March 11, 2016 at 8:00PM, The New York Pops, led by Music Director Steven Reineke, will continue its 33rd season at Carnegie Hall's Stern Auditorium/Perelman Stage with 42nd on 57th: Broadway Today. With guest artists Darren Criss (Glee) and Betsy Wolfe (The Mystery of Edwin Drood), the concert brings the best of Broadway uptown. The program will feature a variety of musical theatre hits. Darren Criss replaces the previously announced Jeremy Jordan, who is unavailable due to a scheduling issue.
