Bucks County Playhouse has announced that Joey Slotnick (NIP/TUCK, THE SECRET LIFE OF WALTER MITTY), Anastasia Griffith (DAMAGES, ONCE UPON A TIME), Michael Nathanson (SIDE EFFECTS, HBO'S Upcoming, THE KNICK) and Nadia Bowers (THE FARNSWORTH INVENTION, METAMORPHOSES) will star in its season opener, Neil Simon's Chapter Two directed by Marsha Mason. The producers of RODGERS + HAMMERSTEIN'S CINDERELLA, the 2013 Tony Award-winning Broadway musical from the creators of South Pacific and The Sound of Music, have announced the show's tour dates for the 2014-2015 season. RODGERS + HAMMERSTEIN'S CINDERELLA will launch its national tour at the Providence Performing Arts Center in Providence, RI on October 10, 2014.
Playwright Christopher Durang - who won his first Tony Award in 2013 for his comedy VANYA AND SONIA AND MASHA AND SPIKE on Broadway - will make his debut in the role of Vanya when the play is presented at Bucks County Playhouse (70 S. Main St) in New Hope, PA. From July 17 to August 10, it has been announced by the Playhouse's newly-appointed producing team -- Producing Director Alexander Fraser, Executive Producer Robyn Goodman and Producers Stephen Kocis and Josh Fiedler.

The producers of Cinderella announced today that television and film star Fran Drescher will make her Broadway debut as Cinderella's stepmother Madame, beginning performances on February 4th for a 10-week run through April 13 at the Broadway Theatre (1681 Broadway). Ms. Drescher takes over the role created by Harriet Harris, who concludes her acclaimed year-long run in the musical to return to her home in California.
Bucks County Playhouse has announced today that the Playhouse has selected Alexander Fraser and Robyn Goodman to assume the leadership roles of Producing Director and Executive Producer, respectively. They will be replacing outgoing Producing Director Jed Bernstein, who announced earlier this year he will be joining Lincoln Center For The Performing Arts as its next President. Fraser and Goodman will begin their duties at the Playhouse in January of 2014.
