ME AND MY GIRL Opens This Week at Reagle, 7/10-20

Reagle Music Theatre of Greater Boston will present Me and My Girl from July 10-20, 2014 as part of its 46th Annual Summer Season at the Robinson Theatre (617 Lexington St. Waltham, MA). Me and My Girl is the joyously funny story of an unrefined cockney gent who must choose between love or money. The mixture of cockney and nobility results in a rollicking, hilarious Downton Abbey with engaging song and dance.

Henry IV Part 2 was filmed for 'Live from Stratford-upon-Avon,' the RSC program that screens the world's greatest classical theatre company from Shakespeare's home town around the world through a continued partnership with Picturehouse Entertainment.

Segerstrom Center Announces Return of Its Popular Movie Mondays; Starts 7/7

Orange County movie fans can look forward to another great summer of free and fun film screenings at Segerstrom Center for the Arts as Movie Mondays returns for its eighth season on the Arts Plaza. Movie Mondays 2014 kicks off with the heartwarming 1935 classic The Little Colonel, starring Shirley Temple. From post Civil War America we head to 1990s London with the sparkling Spice Girls starring in the jet set musical, Spice World. Then it is off to turn-of-the-20th century Paris with the Academy Award®-winning musical Gigi, directed by Vincente Minnelli and featuring some of the most memorable Lerner & Loewe tunes. Continuing with the winner of this year's Audience Favorite Fan Poll, Cabaret, starring Oscar winners Liza Minnelli and Joel Grey. Shirley MacLaine as the eternal optimist in Sweet Charity wraps up the summer film series. Center audiences will have a chance to see MacLaine live when she makes her Center debut on September 20 in her one-woman show.

Beloved Stage and Screen Actor Sam Kelly Passes Away at 70

Sam Kelly was born in Manchester in 1943. Throughout his acting career, Kelly appeared in films, television, radio, and theatre. According to BBC News, Kelly passed away this morning after being admitted to a hospice. His agent, Lynda Ronan, confirmed his passing saying that he 'bravely fought' against his illness and that he died peacefully. He was 70.

Jenny Tiramani has won the 2014 Tony Award for Best Costume Design of a Play for TWELFTH NIGHT. This is Jenny Tiramani's first Tony nomination and her Broadway debut. Her past work includes the production design for The Big Life on the West End and the production design for Two Gentlemen of Verona Off-Broadway.

TWELFTH NIGHT's Mark Rylance Wins Tony for Best Featured Actor in a Play

Mark Rylance has won the 2014 Tony Award for Best Performance by an Actor in a Featured Role in a Play for his role as 'Olivia' in Broadway's TWELFTH NIGHT. Rylance last appeared on Broadway in his Tony Award®-winning performance as Johnny 'Rooster' Byron in the critically acclaimed production of Jerusalem.

TWELFTH NIGHT, THE WINTER'S TALE and More to Run at the Dell, Now thru Aug 31

During the summer month weekends, the Royal Shakespeare Company's outdoor theatre in Stratford-upon-Avon, The Dell, will play host to a range of lively student, community and semi-professional productions. Performances kick off today, Saturday 7 June, and continue until Sunday 31 August.

It will be seen in US cinemas from tonight, June 3 - July 3, and was seen in over 315 UK cinemas in May.
