Producer Joey Parnes has announced that Bright Star, the new musical from 2016 Tony Award nominees Steve Martin and Edie Brickell,will play its final Broadway performance on Sunday, June 26, after 30 preview and 109 regular performances.

?Rhinebeck Writers Retreat is presenting a reading of the new musical, INTO THE WILD, book and lyrics by Janet Allard and music and lyrics by Niko Tsakalakos, on June 13 in New York City for an invited industry audience. INTO THE WILD is based on the acclaimed best selling book by Jon Krakauer and "Back to the Wild" by the Christopher J. McCandless Foundation.

Ghostlight Records has released the original cast recording of Bright Star, the new musical from Grammy and Emmy Award winner Steve Martin and Grammy-winning singer-songwriter Edie Brickell online and in stores today, Friday, May 27.

Ghostlight Records has released the original cast recording of Bright Star, the new musical from Grammy and Emmy Award winner Steve Martin and Grammy-winning singer-songwriter Edie Brickell in digital formats today, Friday, April 29.

Hundreds of guests honored Wimberly Award recipient Board Chairman Carol G. Deane and celebrated the all-star cast from the Huntington's hit production of A Little Night Music, while raising over $1,000,000 (with additional gifts still coming in) to support the Huntington's renowned education and community programs at the Spotlight Spectacular on Monday, April 25. 'We are here to ensure another year of access to the Huntington's programs for thousands of young people,' said Managing Director Michael Maso. 'The centerpiece of all our education programs, the place where opportunity begins and lives are changed, is our student matinee program.'

With direction by Tony Award winner Walter Bobbie and choreography by Josh Rhodes, Bright Star began performances on Thursday, February 25th, 2016 at the Cort Theatre (138 West 48th Street), and opened last Thursday, March 24th, 2016. BroadwayWorld was on hand for the whole evening, starting with the sacred Gypsy Robe ceremony. Huntington Theatre Company Board Chair Carol G. Deane will be honored with the Wimberly Award and the cast of A LITTLE NIGHT MUSIC will be celebrated at the 2016 Spotlight Spectacular "Illuminate" on Monday, April 25, 2016.
