The New Colony's THE TERRIBLE to Run 10/16-11/21 at The Den Theatre

The New Colony is pleased to conclude its 2015 season with the world premiere dark comedy THE TERRIBLE by Morgan McNaught, directed by Jesse Roth, playing October 16 - November 21, 2015 at its resident home, The Den Theatre's Main Stage, 1333 N. Milwaukee Ave. in Chicago's Wicker Park neighborhood.  Tickets are currently available at www.thenewcolony.org.  The press opening is Monday, October 19 at 7:30 pm.

Due to popular demand, Strange Bedfellows Theatre has added a weekend of performances of its critically-acclaimed production of Badfic Love by Adam Pasen and directed by Aaron Henrickson. Badfic Love will now be presented at The Den Theatre, 1333 N Milwaukee Ave. in Chicago, thru May 9, 2015. Performances are Thursdays thru Saturdays at 7:30 pm. The New Colony is pleased to announce its exciting winter line-up of Side Stage programming, a collection of free readings presented on select nights in January and February at its new home, The Den Theatre Upstairs Mainstage, 1333 N. Side Stage kicks off with a five-year reunion reading of The New Colony's second season smash hit 11:11, followed by readings of three new works: STANLEY IN THE NAME OF LOVE, KIN FOLK and THUMBZ UP. Side Stage programming takes place during off-nights of The New Colony's world premiere musical PLASTIC REVOLUTION, playing January 16 - February 22, 2015. Oracle to Open 2015 with CIRCLE-MACHINE

Following an award-winning year of free theatre, Oracle Productions eagerly opens Season 5 of Public Access Theatre with CIRCLE-MACHINE, a world premiere adaptation of FULL CIRCLE by Charles Mee, directed by Thom Pasculli. This frenzied new production is adapted by Emma Stanton, Nigel O'Hearn and Thom Pasculli, and features original music by Jeff Award-winning composer, Nicholas Tonozzi. CIRCLE-MACHINE opens January 24, 2015, and runs through March 14, 2015 at Oracle Theatre (3809 N. Broadway in Chicago). Performances are Friday, Saturday and Monday nights at 8PM; Sundays at 7PM. Press are invited to attend on January 24 - or any night during the run.

Performances of Steppenwolf Theatre Company's fifth annual Garage Rep are scheduled to begin February 14, 2014, featuring The New Colony's world-premiere production of reWILDing Genius, Prologue Theatre Company's Chicago-premiere production of Saturday Night/Sunday Morning and Walkabout Theater Company's world-premiere production of The Wild.
