Anna Greenfield is an emerging American playwright. Her play ALL GIRLS garnered a lot of recognition during its initial New York City run produced by Horse Trade Theater Group at New York City's Kraine Theater. The play is described as being "a hyper real and sometimes surreal play about three teenage girls and one colossally scary mother. Trembling on the brink of womanhood, the girls act out with one another and their families in the most outrageous ways imaginable." In the height of technical rehearsals, I digitally conversed with playwright Anna Greenfield, Susannah Eig (Morgan), Victoria Villarreal (Claude), Amy Michele Mire (Jenny), Kim Tobin (Mrs. Gray), and director Julia Traber about the upcoming Houston regional premiere of ALL GIRLS.

Producer JUDY CRAYMER has confirmed that VIVA FOREVER! the new musical, inspired by the songs of the SPICE GIRLS, has posted closing notices at the Piccadilly Theatre for 29 June, 2013.
Theatre Under the Stars (TUTS) is bringing SPAMALOT back to Houston stages. This locally produced production of the smash hit comedic musical is being directed by Marc Robin. The cast features performers that have previously been in productions of SPAMALOT before and some new to the show altogether. Tonight, Glee celebrates all things guilty pleasure - all those songs on your iPod you claim you "don't know where they came from" or that song you change on the radio dial unless you're alone, then you jam away like you're in it to win it. Gather ye, guilty pleasure lovers and haters - it's time to face the music. Wham!
Blaine continues to crush on Sam, but when he confronts Sam about how he spotted him stealing pasta, Sam reveals he has a guilty pleasure for pasta art - making pasta art of Emma Stone, Leanne Rimes, and even Kurt. When Sam asks Blaine what his guilty pleasure is, Blaine fumbles and says 'Wham', when in fact he means Sam, but this prompts the duo known as Blam to propose a guilty pleasure week for glee club since Mr. Schue is 'out sick'. Kicking off the guilty pleasure goodness is Sam and Blaine with 'Wake Me Up (Before You Go-Go)" - all Technicolor 80's glory! BLAM! Brittany calls Kitty on her bitchy ways, and gets her on Fondue for Two and they dish guilty pleasures (including all of the Bring It On films), but Kitty's guiltiest pleasure is kept between the two and the fondue. Kurt's acting class calls for embarrassing moments, but Kurt won't admit to owning and using a boyfriend pillow as his greatest embarrassing secret, but one would think sweating to the oldies with Richard Simmons would be the worst, but we'll just try and forget that one.

According to the Daily Mail, Harry Hill and Steve Brown's 16 million dollar new musical X Factor -- It's Time To Face The Musical! has been given the go-ahead by Stage Entertainment and Simon Cowell's Syco Entertainment. Casting will commence in May, with rehearsals slated for next winter at the London Palladium.
