Alhambra Dinner Theatre presents FOREVER PLAID July 29th - August 30th, 2009.

For their final summer production, Cortland Repertory Theatre revisits one of Central New York's favorite musicals 'Forever Plaid', with three weeks of performances from August 19 - September 4. This hilarious family-friendly musical with vocal arrangements by James Raitt and a book by Stuart Ross began in a small Off-Broadway cabaret in 1990 and has grown over the years to become a huge international hit.

Experience the beautiful four part harmonies of the 'Plaids' in Forever Plaid as this witty musical extravaganza comes to Barter Theatre beginning August 14, 2009.

After a brief summer hiatus, Sterling's Upstairs at Vitello's in Studio City, CA returns next month for a sizzling series of intimate concerts that promise to make August hotter than ever! Considered to be among the most gifted performers in Los Angeles, Sterling's Upstairs is pleased to welcome Joshua Guerrero, Kara Stephens, Kelly Dodson, Josie Yount and Jon-Paul Burkhart to its stellar roster of over 150 headliners since the club's opening in June, 2006.

ArtsWest starts the 2009-10 season with DEAD MAN'S CELL PHONE, a wildly imaginative new work from Sarah Ruhl, the playwright behind The Clean House and Eurydice. When Jean answers the cell phone of the corpse at the next table, she unwittingly embarks on a quirky odyssey that takes her from grief to the black market to the afterlife. With unfailing empathy, she sets the dead man's bizarre life to rights and on the way resurrects her own. ArtsWest favorite Carol Roscoe returns to direct this Seattle Premiere.

The Marcus Center for the Performing Arts is presenting Sparky, from WSSP Radio as the Phantom in the 'Storm the Bastille' run. The run kicks off at 9pm tonight and Sparky will be showing his support for Broadway Across America in Milwaukee.
