CBS Sports Reveals Broadcast Pairings for 2013 NFL Season

The CBS Television Network begins its 54th year of broadcasting the NFL on Sunday, Sept. 8 (12:00 Noon-4:00 PM, ET) as Jim Nantz and Phil Simms lead THE NFL ON CBS into the Network's 2013 NFL season. CBS Sports' complete roster of announce teams for its 54th year of NFL coverage was announced today by Sean McManus, Chairman, CBS Sports, and Executive Producer, THE NFL ON CBS.

Photo Flash: First Look at CRT's SHIPWRECKED

For the fifth show in their 42nd annual summer season, Cortland Repertory Theatre will present the regional premiere of 'Shipwrecked! An Entertainment - The Amazing Adventures of Louis de Rougemont, as told by himself.' Written by Pulitzer Prize winning playwright Donald Margulies, this play promises to be a unique theatrical experience for young and old alike. Performances of this adventure tale will run from August 14 - 24 with evening performances at 7:30. Matinees are available on August 16, 18, and 21 at 2:00 PM. Tickets may be purchased by calling 800-427-6160 or at the CRT Box Office at 24 Port Watson Street in Cortland. Brooklyn Center for the Performing Arts to Present MY MOTHER'S ITALIAN, MY FATHER'S JEWISH, AND I'M HOME FOR THE HOLIDAYS!, 11/24

Brooklyn Center for the Performing Arts at Brooklyn College continues its 2013-2014 season on Sunday, November 24, 2013 at 3pm with My Mother's Italian, My Father's Jewish & I'm Home for the Holidays. Master comedian Steve Solomon performs the hilarious holiday sequel to his award-winning Off-Broadway hit My Mother's Italian, My Father's Jewish & I'm In Therapy!, which played at Brooklyn Center in April of 2012. BRIT Presents 'Kochi Makino: An Amazing Botanical Garden in Japan', 9/7

Beginning September 7, BRIT will present Kochi Makino: An Amazing Botanical Garden in Japan, an exhibition tracing the strategic growth of one of Japan's premier botanical gardens. The exhibit is free to the public and will provide audiences with an interesting view of how the Makino Botanical Garden transformed itself from flower garden into an internationally respected botanical research organization during the last decade.

Elvis Costello to Play Merriam Theater, 11/10

Elvis Costello embarks on SOLO East Coast U.S. Tour with Philadelphia Stop at Merriam Theater on Sunday, November 10 at 8 p.m. Costello's performance includes new work from Wise Up Ghost (to be released September 17, Blue Note Records), the collaborative album of Costello and The Roots, produced by longtime Roots associate Steven Mandel along with Costello and ?uestlove. Tickets go on sale to the public Friday, August 9th at 10 a.m.

TheatreLAB's Stephen Karam's SPEECH & DEBATE Begins Today

TheatreLAB is proud to present Speech & Debate by Stephen Karam as part of their 2013 Summer Session. Speech & Debate will be directed by Artistic Director Deejay Gray, and will be performed at Richmond Triangle Players, today, August 9-14, 2013. Cadence Theatre Company recently produced Karam's Sons of the Prophet as part of the 2013-2014 Acts of Faith Festival.

Author Andrew Solomon Visits Albuquerque, 10/24

Bookworks and the University of New Mexico Department of Psychiatry will host renowned journalist Andrew Solomon in Albuquerque October 24. Solomon, the National Book Award-winning author of Far from the Tree: Parents, Children, and the Search for Identity, will present on his work and experiences at 7pm at the Domenici Center Auditorium at the University of New Mexico's Health Science Center on UNM's north campus.
