BWW Review: HOME, I'M DARLING, Duke Of York's Theatre

Beginning life at Theatr Clwyd last summer, Laura Wade's latest play Home, I'm Darling quickly transferred to the National's Dorfman Theatre and has now begun a limited engagement in the West End - following this run it will tour to Bath and Salford, before returning home to Theatr Clwyd at the end of April. Katherine Parkinson reprises the role of Judy in this Tamara Harvey-directed production.

Co-Artistic Directors of Morphic Graffiti, Luke Fredericks and Stewart Charlesworth, today announce full casting for their new adaptation of William Wycherley's restoration comedy The Country Wife. Fredericks directs theatre veteran Richard Clews whose credits include King Lear, (Chichester Festival Theatre) and extensive work for the RSC and Shakespeare's Globe, Sarah Lam (Chimerica, Almeida Theatre / Harold Pinter Theatre, Lucky Man, No Problem!) and Sam Graham (Spooks, Kingdom, Footballer's Wives) who join the previously announced 'Bright Young Things' - EastEnders' Eddie Eyre, Call the Midwife's Leo Staar, West End stars Siubhan Harrison and Nancy Sullivan along with Daniel Cane, Mabel Clements and Joshua Hill completing the full company. Thrust into the excesses and seductions of late 1920s London: a city exploding with a heavy mix of jazz, gin and scandalous affairs, the production opens at Southwark Playhouse on 4 April, with previews from 28 March, and runs until 21 April.

A Varied WhatsOnStage Awards Celebrate The West End's Breadth

The 18th Annual WhatsOnStage Awards, held at the Prince of Wales Theatre, was a fast-paced ceremony with great performances and an enthusiastic crowd. Notes of Love is Oliver Boito's debut CD and first venture into releasing his own music. An artist and photographer, in addition to writer and composer, Boito has an impressive set of skills to his name and Notes of Love is something that he should be incredibly proud of.

WORKING to Release Original London Cast Recording With New Music By Lin-Manuel Miranda

Ghostlight Records has announced the release of the Original London Cast Recording of Stephen Schwartz's WORKING on Friday, March 2. The album is being released following a hugely successful run at Southwark Playhouse, directed by Luke Sheppard in Summer 2017. This will be the first recording of WORKING since the Original Broadway Cast Recording in 1978 and will feature never before released tracks by Lin-Manuel Miranda.
