According to the UK Mirror, Simon Cowell is currently developing a 'Downton Abbey' styleperiod drama series for the BBC through his production company Syco TV. According to the report, the series will take place in Broadmoor psychiatric hospital during the Victorian age.

Casting will commence in May, with rehearsals slated for next winter at the London Palladium.
