Bobby Davro to Lead NOT A GAME FOR BOYS at King's Head Theatre

Bobby Davro - actor, impressionist and one of the UK's funniest and most celebrated comedians (Bobby Davro on the Box, Bobby Davro's TV Annual, Bobby's Sketch Pad, TV Weekly, Eastenders) - leads the cast as a London cabbie and table tennis team captain 'Eric', in this 20th anniversary (and first London revival) by Lawson Joel Productions of Not a Game for Boys by writer Simon Block (nominated for Evening Standard Most Promising Playwright, the Writer's Guild New Writer of the Year, BAFTA Writer of the Year, and the Royal Television Society Writer of the Year).

Next Theatre Company Begins 2013 With Jonathan Safran Foer's EVERYTHING IS ILLUMINATED

Next Theatre Company announces the third production in their 32nd season, Jonathan Safran Foer's Everything is Illuminated, adapted by Simon Block and directed by Devon de Mayo, at Noyes Cultural Arts Center, 927 Noyes Street. Previews are Thursday, Feb, 21 at 7:30 p.m.; Friday, Feb.22 and Saturday, Feb. 23 at 8 p.m. and Sunday, Feb. 24 at 2 p.m. Opening night is Tuesday, Feb. 26 at 7 p.m. The regular performance schedule is Thursdays at 7:30 p.m., Fridays at 8 p.m., Saturdays at 8 p.m. and Sundays at 2 p.m. There are Saturday 4 p.m. performances March 9, 16, 23 and 30. Due to the Next Theatre Company's Annual Gala, there will be no public performance Sunday, March 3. For information on the Gala, please call 847-475-1875. Next Theatre 2012 - 2013 Season to Include U.S. Premiere of EVERYTHING IS ILLUMINATE

Next Theatre Company announces their 32nd main stage season. The season begins with Iphigenia 2.0 by Charles Mee, directed by David Kersnar; followed by the Midwest premiere of Welcome Home, Jenny Sutter written by Julie Marie Myatt and directed by Jessica Thebus. The United States premiere of Everything is Illuminated, by Simon Block adapted from Jonathan Safron Foers' novel and directed by Devon DeMayo begins 2013, and the season will conclude with a co-production with the Theatre and Interpretation Center at Northwestern University, and in partnership with The Center on Wrongful Convictions, The Exonerated, by Jessica Blank and Eric Jensen, directed by Cat Miller and presented at the Josephine Louis Theater, 20 Arts Circle Drive, Northwestern University. The first three main stage productions are presented at Noyes Cultural Arts Center, 927 Noyes Street in Evanston.
