After a hugely successful, box-office-record-smashing Spring season in its 45th year, the King's Head Theatre is proud to announce its Summer season, including exciting new work and ground-breaking revivals, as well as travels to Edinburgh and a new writing festival.

Bobby Davro - actor, impressionist and one of the UK's funniest and most celebrated comedians (Bobby Davro on the Box, Bobby Davro's TV Annual, Bobby's Sketch Pad, TV Weekly, Eastenders) - leads the cast as a London cabbie and table tennis team captain 'Eric', in this 20th anniversary (and first London revival) by Lawson Joel Productions of Not a Game for Boys by writer Simon Block (nominated for Evening Standard Most Promising Playwright, the Writer's Guild New Writer of the Year, BAFTA Writer of the Year, and the Royal Television Society Writer of the Year).

From Mark Burnett and Roma Downey, executive producers of "The Bible," A.D., the next installment of the epic story, comes to NBC, Easter Sunday 2015. Check out the trailer below

King's Head Theatre Artistic Director Adam Spreadbury-Maher announces the theatre's work for the first 6 months of 2015, including a new play directed by Mike Bradwell, and the 21st anniversary production of Irvine Welsh's Trainspotting, with a 9-actor Edinburgh cast, plus, the long awaited stage premiere of Richard O'Brien's Shock Treatment, the equal/sequel to his cult hit The Rocky Horror Show.

Coming off a season in which the network catapulted to No. 1 in the 18-49 demo and saw double-digit improvement in many prominent timeslots, NBC has announced a line-up of popular returning series, inventive new comedies, compelling new dramas and season seven of the Emmy Award-winning musical competition series 'The Voice.'

NBC has greenlit the 12-hour miniseries “A.D.,” a follow-up to the miniseries “The Bible” that aired on History earlier this year from creators Mark Burnett and Roma Downey.

The United States premiere of Everything is Illuminated, by Simon Block adapted from Jonathan Safron Foers' novel and directed by Devon DeMayo begins 2013, and the season will conclude with a co-production with the Theatre and Interpretation Center at Northwestern University, and in partnership with The Center on Wrongful Convictions, The Exonerated, by Jessica Blank and Eric Jensen, directed by Cat Miller and presented at the Josephine Louis Theater, 20 Arts Circle Drive, Northwestern University.
