Tim Bluhm is set to release his new full-length solo album, Sorta Surviving, on March 29, 2019. A gentle departure from his usual California-Soul sound of the Mother Hips, Sorta Surviving finds Bluhm living out his classic country musical dreams. Produced by Widespread Panic's Dave Schools and anchored by all-star band members Jesse Aycock (guitar, vocals) and Jason Crosby (piano, violin, organ), and Nashville session legends Gene Chrisman (drums) and David Roe (bass), Bluhm's new album was recorded at Cash Cabin Studios in Hendersonville, TN. “Recording in that space with those guys was like a dream come true for me,” says Bluhm. “The depth of knowledge they walk around with in their heads is amazing, and you know you can trust the musical choices they're making.” Today, Jambase premiered the video for “Where I Parked My Mind”, an up to date representation of a night on the town and its repercussions. Director Tim Duggan tells Jambase, “People start their night expecting to have the time of their lives and often they try to portray that kind of ecstasy with phones and social media. Production has officially wrapped in Alabama on the coming-of-age teen comedy “This is the Year” starring breakout actor Lorenzo Henrie (“Fear the Walking Dead”) and Gregg Sulkin (Marvel's “Runaways,” “Faking It”). David Henrie (“Wizards of Waverly Place,” “Paul Blart: Mall Cop 2”) is directing the film and wrote the screenplay with Bug Hall, Pepe Portillo and Sienna Aquilinni.
The Royal Shakespeare Company has announced that Elliot Harper will play Miss Trunchbull in Matilda The Musical's UK and Ireland Tour from Tuesday 15 January at Theatre Royal Plymouth. The tour will then play at the Alhambra Theatre, Bradford (19 February - 23 March 2019), Edinburgh Playhouse (2 - 27 April 2019), The Bristol Hippodrome (7 May - 8 June 2019), Mayflower Theatre, Southampton (11 June - 6 July 2019) and Norwich Theatre Royal (16 July - 17 August 2019). The West End production will continue to play at the Cambridge Theatre, where it is now in its eighth year and is booking until 24 May 2020.

The West End production will continue to play at the Cambridge Theatre, where it is now in its seventh year and is booking until 20 October 2019.
Paramount Worldwide Acquisitions announced today that it has acquired the North American rights to the Sarah Jessica Parker (“Divorce,” “Sex and the City”) drama HERE AND NOW (formerly titled Blue Night). The film will be distributed by Paramount Home Media Distribution on Digital and VOD beginning November 9, 2018, the same day that it will debut in theaters from AMBI Distribution.
