The mysterious guitar playing shapeshifter knocks on Creative Cauldron's doors again in Thunder Knocking on the Door, a blues musical fable written by Keith Glover, with lyrics and music by three-time Grammy award winner Keb' Mo' and Anderson Edwards. The acclaimed artists behind Creative Cauldron's Bold New Works productions, Stephen Gregory Smith and Matt Conner, are directing and choreographing the production. Smith received praise for his gorgeously and lovingly directed Thunder Knocking at the Door production, which played a sold out run at Creative Cauldron back in 2013. The show runs from February 14 March 10 at Creative Cauldron in Falls Church, 410 South Maple Avenue. Performances are Thursdays at 7:30PM, Fridays at 7:30PM, Saturdays at 7:30PM, and Sundays at 2:00PM & 7:00PM. Press Night is Saturday, February 16th at 7:30 pm.

Joey Folsom, Artistic Director of The Classics Theatre Project, today announced the formation of a permanent Resident Artists Company for the theatre to be underwritten by Liese and Mike Canterbury. The company members will be, in addition to Mr. Folsom, R. Andrew Aguilar, Sasha Maya Ada, Chad Cline, Stan Graner, Gretchen Hahn, N. Ryan McBride, Leslie Patrick, Van Quattro, Rachel Reininger and Dean Wray. The Resident Artists will fill many of the roles in the TCTP 3-play 2019 season: "Fool for Love," Summer and Smoke," and "The Crucible." In addition, the RAC members will work as members of the TCPT team in other areas of production, marketing, and development. The Company will be called the Canterbury Company of Resident Artists.

The Epcot International Festival of the Arts, which runs from January 18 to February 25, 2019, presents the third annual Disney on Broadway Concert Series. 

Pioneer Theatre Company continues the sixth season of Play-by-Play's New Play Reading Series with The Fifth Domain by playwright, Victor Lesniewski. The readings will take place at the Dumke Auditorium in the Utah Museum of Fine Arts Building on Friday, January 25 at 7:30PM and Saturday, January 26, 2019 at 2:00PM and 7:30PM.

The Little Theatre of Manchester (LTM) is in search of several men to fill out the cast for its April production of DREAMGIRLS, including at least four African-American men to play principal roles.

Atlantic recording artist K'ron has unveiled a remarkable new video for “BLS,” featured on his recently released debut EP, WILD LOVA VOL. 1. The visual -- which marks the first chapter of a three-part short film comprised of songs from the EP – was broadcasted live on REVOLT this afternoon and is now streaming via YouTube HERE. The Palm Canyon Theatre (PCT) will become a pantomime of hustle and bustle as the regional repertory company presents Guys and Dolls January 18-February 10. Set in New York City in the 1940s, Guys and Dolls is about some big city gamblers and the women who love them. The Tony award winner for Best Musical tells the overlapping stories of the lovable rapscallion, Nathan Detroit (Paul Grant), engaged for 14 years to Miss Adelaide (Se Layne), a headliner at the Hot Box Club and that of high-roller Sky Masterson (Nicholas Sloan), who falls in love with mission worker Sarah Brown (Jamie Leigh Walker).

SiriusXM announced today that legendary rock band KISS will perform an intimate invitation-only show for SiriusXM subscribers and VIPs on Monday, February 11 at LA's famed Whisky a Go Go on the Sunset Strip in Los Angeles. The exclusive performance will air on KISS' exclusive SiriusXM channel, KISS Army Radio.

Austrian electronica act, Lex Audrey will be sharing the first single, 'Winter II' on the 1st of February 2019, taken from their upcoming debut album, 'No Intentions Of Changing The World'' which will be released on the 8th of February via LasVegas Records. Red Bull Theater today announced the cast for the next REVELATION READING, the New York Premiere of The Shadow of a Doubt by Edith Wharton, directed by Eleanor Holdridge: Emily Brown, Michael Cerveris, Kimberly Chatterjee, Samantha Blaire Cutler, Sanjit De Silva, Adam Harrington, Kathryn Meisle, Amanda Quaid and Brian Wile.  This will take place on Monday January 28th at 7:30 PM at the Lucille Lortel Theatre (121 Christopher Street, between Bleecker and Hudson Streets).

This Thursday, 17 January, the Royal Opera House's Linbury Theatre, the West End's newest and most intimate venue, opens with its first live performance. Extensively redesigned and refurbished as part of the ROH's Open Up project, London's latest state-of-the-art theatre will open with TRIOConcertDance, a mixed programme of contemporary choreography. Performed by Alessandra Ferri, Herman Cornejo and Bruce Levingston, TRIOConcertDance features a series of UK premieres, and showcases the Linbury Theatre as The Royal Ballet's new innovative and international stage for dance.

The fourth season of the critically acclaimed conversation series Speakeasy continues with an episode featuring Def Leppard front man and the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame's newest inductee Joe Elliott with Rolling Stone editor David Fricke.
