Screen Actors Guild Foundation and Broadway World have partnered for an inaugural filmed Conversations Q&A series to recognize and celebrate the vibrant theatre community in New York City and the union actors who aspire to have a career on the stage and screen. Today, Berkeley Repertory Theatre revealed the seventh show selected for its upcoming season. The Tony Award-winning nonprofit will begin its 46th year of smart and adventurous shows with Vanya and Sonia and Masha and Spike, the hilarious Broadway hit from three-time Obie Award-winner Christopher Durang. Respected director Richard E.T. White returns to the Bay Area to stage this hugely popular show in September.

The Village Voice, the nation's largest alternative weekly newspaper, previously announced that tickets will go on sale today, April 10, 2013 for the 58th Annual Obie Awards on Monday, May 20, 2013, at Webster Hall in the East Village, 125 East 11th Street.

The New York City Chapter of the Alzheimer's Association is now selling tickets to the Thursday, May 2, 2013 performance of Broadway's VANYA and SONIA and MASHA and SPIKE, the irresistible new comedy by Christopher Durang starring Tony and Emmy Award Winner David Hyde Pierce and Tony and Academy Award nominee Sigourney Weaver. A portion of the proceeds from ticket sales will support the free programs and services offered by the New York City Chapter, as well as research.

Shalita Grant makes her Broadway debut as the inimical, yet well-meaning psychic maid Cassandra in Christopher Durang's newest romp Vanya and Sonia and Masha and Spike now playing at the Golden Theatre.

The Flea has announced that Thirteen WNET will be filming the critically acclaimed production of THE VANDAL on March 29. A broadcast date has not been slated. Written by actor Hamish Linklater (School for Lies, Twelfth Night, Recent Tragic Events & The Busy World is Hushed, and TV's The New Adventures of Old Christine), The Vandal runs through March 31. It is directed by Flea Artistic Director Jim Simpson starring Zach Grenier, Deidre O'Connell, and Noah Robbins.

The Broadway Premiere of Christopher Durang's Vanya and Sonia and Masha and Spike, which comes on the heels of its sold-out run at Lincoln Center, will play a 17-week strictly limited Broadway engagement at Broadway's Golden Theatre. Directed by Nicholas Martin, the Broadway production will feature the entire original company, which includes Sigourney Weaver, David Hyde Pierce,Kristine Nielsen, Genevieve Angelson, Shalita Grant, and Billy Magnussen.
