Showtime Launches Eighth and Final Season of WEEDS, 7/1

The show that introduced America to a pot-dealing soccer mom and changed the face of the network is sparking up its final toke: after eight unforgettable, jaw-dropping seasons, WEEDS is coming to an end. SHOWTIME will air the final 13 episodes beginning Sunday, July 1st at 10:00 p.m. ET/PT. In addition, the series will achieve a much-coveted television milestone: the 11th episode of the season will mark the series' 100th. Created by Jenji Kohan and produced by Lionsgate, WEEDS has been honored with multiple award nominations, including 21 Emmys(R), 10 Golden Globes(R) and six SAG(R) Awards over the course of its seven seasons on air. Its success put SHOWTIME on the map as a destination for top-quality original series and set the stage for hits like DEXTER(R), NURSE JACKIE, CALIFORNICATION and HOMELAND.

DEXTER, SHAMELESS Among Showtime's Comic Con Line-Up

SHOWTIME has announced its panel line-up for the Comic-Con International: San Diego 2012 which will feature stars from some of the network's biggest original series. This year's panels will include the Emmy®-nominated series DEXTER, as well as the hit drama series SHAMELESS.

Liev Schreiber to Star in Showtime Drama RAY DONOVAN

RAY DONOVAN, a one-hour drama starring Emmy(R) and Golden Globe(R) Award nominee Liev Schreiber, and MASTERS OF SEX, a one-hour drama starring Emmy and BAFTA Award nominee Michael Sheen and acclaimed actress Lizzy Caplan, have both received 12 episode orders and will both film in Los Angeles for air in 2013.

Showtime Announces Third Season for THE BORGIAS

As episode five of THE BORGIAS' second season debuts this coming Sunday on SHOWTIME, the network has ordered a third season of Vatican intrigue and Renaissance drama, with ten episodes to premiere in 2013.
