The Barbara Morrison Performing Arts Center announces its upcoming events for September 2012.

Harry Melling, best known for playing Dudley Dursley in five of the Harry Potter films, is to play Christopher Isherwood in I am a Camera, which will run in a three-week season at The Vault at Southwark Playhouse, in London from Wednesday September 5 - Saturday September 22. Mike Stoller, of the legendary Grammy Award-winning songwriting team of Leiber & Stoller, will appear for a book signing of "Hound Dog: The Leiber and Stoller Autobiography" at 1:00 p.m., followed by a Question and Answer Session and screening of the 1957 Warner Bros. classic film (originally made by MGM), "Jailhouse Rock" starring Elvis Presley at 2:00 p.m. today, August 19, 2012 at the American Cinematheque at the Egyptian Theatre, 6712 Hollywood Boulevard, Hollywood, Calif. The screening will celebrate the life of The King of Rock & Roll, Elvis Presley, while simultaneously commemorating the 35th Anniversary of the late singer's passing.

American Idol winner Taylor Hicks attended JERSEY BOYS at Paris Las Vegas yesterday, August 12. Currently headlining at Bally's Las Vegas, Hicks was excited to show support for his fellow Las Vegas entertainers, the JERSEY BOYS. Following the show, Hicks headed backstage to congratulate the cast on a great show and stayed for a cast photo.

The Railroad Playhouse (RRP) is delighted to announce its 2012-2013 season, commencing on October 19, 2012 with the world premiere of playwright-in-residence Alex Goldberg's AMERICA'S BRIGHTEST STAR. Starting in December, there will be four staged readings introducing four new plays. In May 2013, the 2nd Annual One Act Play Festival will feature short plays from the current and new playwrights-in-residence. RRP friend Mission: Improv-able returns as the resident Improv troupe. Educational programs will continue with the after school workshops, Expanded In-School Playmaking Residency, and Glee Summer Camp.
