JERSEY BOYS, part of the MSU Federal Credit Union Broadway Series at Wharton Center, will be featured Tuesday, October 13 - Sunday, October 18, 2015 in the Cobb Great Hall.
The Auditorium Theatre of Roosevelt University's Auxiliary Board brings "Old Chicago" back to the National Historic Landmark Theatre with the fifth annual The Devil's Ball, Friday, Oct. 2 from 7:30 - 11 p.m. The lobby of the iconic Auditorium Theatre is the backdrop for this unique gathering for its 300 expected guests. Revelers are treated to fabulous food, entertainment, theatre tours and more, as they raise funds and generate awareness for the preservation of the Auditorium Theatre as well as the Auditorium's diverse educational programming. Houseworld, a new surrealist immersive theater performance, will receive its world premiere at a transformed historic rectory in Brooklyn, October 8-November 21. With a pop music soundtrack that includes Mariah Carey, Johnny Cash, Florence and the Machine, Aerosmith and Joni Mitchell, Nolan and companions bridge the gap between unabashed self-indulgence and delicate nostalgia. The tale is told in two acts with a whirlwind of lightly choreographed emotions as explored on the laps of the audience.
