On Sunday May 16, Splash (50 West 17th Street) will play host to the latest edition of BROADWAY BARES: SOLO STRIPS. Both shows will have two performances at 8 PM and 10 PM.

The 24th ANNUAL EASTER BONNET COMPETITION was a great success with an astounding, $3,265,700 being raised this year by the 64 participating Broadway, Off-Broadway, and National Tour companies benefiting Broadway Cares / Equity Fights AIDS. Since it began in 1987, the 23 editions of the EASTER BONNET COMPETITION have raised over $42 million for BC/EFA.
Cocktails for a Cause is an exclusive one-night only event on Thursday, April 15th, 2010 with special guest Tiffany ('I Think We're Alone Now') and a host of Broadway stars. The event benefits Broadway in South Africa, an arts service organization that brings Broadway artists to South Africa to work with children whose lives have been affected by poverty and AIDS.

Ford's Theatre has canceled both performances of 'A Christmas Carol' for Saturday, December 19, 2009. As per a statement from the theatre, 'We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience caused by this change, but we felt it to be in the best interest of our patrons and staff. A decision regarding Sunday's performances will be announced tomorrow.'

Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS presented the 21st Annual GYPSY OF THE YEAR COMPETITION over a two day event yesterday, December 7 and today, December 8 at the Palace Theatre on Broadway. The proceeds from the event benefit BC/EFA. This year's event raised more than $4,639,000 dollars. And the winners are in!

NYMF has just announced the winners of their Best of Fest awards. Set to perform at this year's gala are the casts of the winning shows, as well as Sh-K-Boom's own Sherie Rene Scott, Alice Ripley, Gavin Creel, and Kelli O'Hara. The event will take place on Sunday, November 22nd, at 6:30pm at the Edison Ballroom.
