The Boston Modern Orchestra Project Ends Its Season With Works By John Corigliano

The Boston Modern Orchestra Project (BMOP), the nation's premier orchestra dedicated exclusively to commissioning, performing, and recording new orchestral music, celebrates the rich, unusual, and widely celebrated work of composer John Corigliano. Led by Artistic Director and Conductor Gil Rose, BMOP performs the Boston premiere of Troubadours, featuring guitar virtuoso Eliot Fisk, followed by the Pulitzer Prize-winning Symphony No. 2.

Galactic Release New Single TOUCH GET CUT (feat. Erica Falls) From New Album Out 2/8

Galactic are thrilled to share the blistering feminist anthem “Touch Get Cut (feat. Erica Falls)”, from their forthcoming album Already Ready Already due out February 8th, 2019 on Galactic's own Tchoup-Zilla Records through Thirty Tigers. “Touch, touch get cut / Back off me daddy leave the girl alone / Vixen sistas rolling in my crew / Rusty switch pointed dead at you” sings Falls as a warning to any “drunken fools” shooting “slick lines” and working on “borrowed time”.  The new single follows the release of “Going Straight Crazy (feat. Princess Shaw)” described by Relix as sounding like 'an homage to Sharon Jones and Daptone Records,' and the previously released “Clap Your Hands feat. Miss Charm Taylor”, which The New York Times lauded as “a euphoric three-minute New Orleans funk romp from one of the city's long-running bands.”

MIMBRE, the East-London based all-women acrobatic theatre company, was invited by Maria Grazia Chiuri, Creative Director of the Dior women's collections, to participate in the spring-summer 2019 haute couture show at Paris Fashion Week. 18 female acrobats took to the runway for the specially commissioned and choreographed performance for Christian Dior's Spring Summer 2019 (SS19) show at [the Musee Rodin].
