The Boston Modern Orchestra Project (BMOP), the nation's premier orchestra dedicated exclusively to commissioning, performing, and recording new orchestral music, celebrates the rich, unusual, and widely celebrated work of composer John Corigliano. Led by Artistic Director and Conductor Gil Rose, BMOP performs the Boston premiere of Troubadours, featuring guitar virtuoso Eliot Fisk, followed by the Pulitzer Prize-winning Symphony No. 2.

Galactic are thrilled to share the blistering feminist anthem “Touch Get Cut (feat. Erica Falls)”, from their forthcoming album Already Ready Already due out February 8th, 2019 on Galactic's own Tchoup-Zilla Records through Thirty Tigers. “Touch, touch get cut / Back off me daddy leave the girl alone / Vixen sistas rolling in my crew / Rusty switch pointed dead at you” sings Falls as a warning to any “drunken fools” shooting “slick lines” and working on “borrowed time”.  The new single follows the release of “Going Straight Crazy (feat. Princess Shaw)” described by Relix as sounding like 'an homage to Sharon Jones and Daptone Records,' and the previously released “Clap Your Hands feat. Miss Charm Taylor”, which The New York Times lauded as “a euphoric three-minute New Orleans funk romp from one of the city's long-running bands.”

Make It Write theatre producer Sharon Colpman, director Meg McFarlane and writer Helen Jones are treating Liverpool audiences to a unique Western drama, The Barn Swallows, premiering at The Hope Street Theatre from Wed 6 - Sat 9 March 2019.

The Chamber Music Society of Lincoln Center (CMS) has announced the details of its 2019-20 season. MIMBRE, the East-London based all-women acrobatic theatre company, was invited by Maria Grazia Chiuri, Creative Director of the Dior women's collections, to participate in the spring-summer 2019 haute couture show at Paris Fashion Week. 18 female acrobats took to the runway for the specially commissioned and choreographed performance for Christian Dior's Spring Summer 2019 (SS19) show at [the Musee Rodin].

Joe's Pub, a program and venue of The Public Theater, announces the new class of Joe's Pub Working Group (JPWG), the venue's artist development program dedicated to enhancing the career sustainability and growth of performing artists. Entering its fifth year, JPWG welcomes five artists performer and songwriter Migguel Anggelo, composter and vocalist Trevor Bachman, comedian and performance artist Becca Blackwell, jazz musician and composer Yacine Boulares, and singer-songwriter Treya Lam as the core group that represents the diversity and scope of the nightly programming at Joe's Pub.

The Little Orchestra Society's® (LOS) Winter Gala on Wednesday, February 6, 2019 at 6:30pm will mark the organization's 71st Anniversary Season and will honor two individuals whose work supports LOS' mission of  music education and community service, multi GRAMMY Award-winning guitarist Sharon Isbin and philanthropist Jeffrey. Hosted by WQXR broadcaster and producer Elliott Forrest, the Gala will take place at  Florence Gould Hall, 55 East 59th Street, and is a celebration of one of New York City's premier cultural institutions offering classical music programming for children and families. Proceeds from the Gala will support LOS' powerful music learning and community engagement programs central to the mission of the Orchestra. The Alley Theatre and Interim Artistic Director James Black, announce the cast and crew of the family drama The Humans by Stephen Karam and directed by Alley Artistic Associate Brandon Weinbrenner.
