The Town Hall (123 West 43rd Street) New York's landmark concert venue presents the 11th season of its acclaimed Broadway By The Year® series, created, written and hosted by Scott Siegel for The Town Hall on Valentine's Day, Monday, February 14th at 8PM. Kicking off the 90th Anniversary of The Town Hall, the Broadway By The Year® season will begin with THE BROADWAY MUSICALS of 1921, celebrating the great music that was performed the same year the historic building came to be.
On December 6, a slew of Broadway favorites, including: Marc Kudisch, Shannon Lewis, Andy Karl, Orfeh, Chris Sieber, Jim Saneck, John Tartaglia, Rachel York, Richard Kind and David Hess will perform in an invitation only reading of the new musical THE PROTAGONISTS.

On Broadway Ms. Mason starred in Sunset Boulevard, Mama Mia, Hairspray, and most recently, the Queens of Hearts in Frank Wildhorn's new musical, Wonderland.

Fanny, the 50th Encores! musical produced by New York City Center since 1994 and the second Encores! production of the season, opened on February 4 and ran through February 7, 2010. Fanny has music and lyrics by Harold Rome and book by S.N. Behrman and Joshua Logan, and is based on Marcel Pagnol's trilogy Marius, Fanny and Cesar. Fanny was directed by Marc Bruni and choreographed by Lorin Latarro with music direction by Rob Berman.

The American Theatre Wing presented its annual spring gala, last night, Monday, June 1, 2009 at Cipriani 42nd Street (110 East 42nd Street). As in years past, the American Theatre Wing Spring Gala will brought together the best of Broadway. Tony Award winner Hugh Jackman served as the evening's Honorary Chair and Mrs. Schuyler G. Chapin, Lucia Hwong Gordon and Anthony D. Leeds served as Gala Co-Chairs. The entertainment portion of the evening was produced by Class Productions and directed by Lauren Class Schneider. All proceeds benefit the education and outreach programs of the American Theatre Wing.
