The 2014 One Act Fest is a festival showcasing the very best talent Bainbridge has to offer in a selection of comedic and dramatic one act plays from playwrights, familiar and obscure.
Island Theatre's 2103 Ten-Minute Play Festival presents fourteen plays by local playwrights over two days at Bainbridge Performing Arts. BPA will present an array of nationally and internationally-renowned artists for school and community outreach performances throughout each season. This March, the series will welcome One World Taiko, a contemporary Japanese drum ensemble that features spirited drumming and a blend of traditional, contemporary, and world music stylings. One World Taiko performed full time at Walt Disney World's Epcot Center's Japan Pavilion in Orlando, Florida for four years. They have also performed in Japan, Europe, the Middle East, and all over the US at numerous concerts, festivals, celebrations, corporate events, schools, and colleges.
