A world premiere production of 'Medea' starring Annette Bening will kick off UCLA Live's 2009-10 season, announced artistic and executive director David Sefton Wednesday evening at Royce Hall. Olivier and Tony Award-winning actor Mark Rylance joins the company of Simon McBurney's production of Endgame as Hamm, taking over the role from Richard Briers. Simon McBurney will now play the role of Clov for the duration of the run. Rylance and McBurney will be joined by Miriam Margolyes as previously announced, and Tom Hickey as Nagg. Shakespeare?s Globe will revive Dominic Dromgoole?s 2007 production of Love's Labour's Lost between September 25 and October 10, concluding the Globe's highly successful 2009 summer theatre season. Following its run in London, it will transfer to the US for a two month tour of North America ? the first under Dominic's direction of the Globe ? visiting Ann Arbor, Philadelphia, Berkeley, Davis, Santa Barbara, Santa Monica, Holyoke and New York.
