Wilson Milam (The Lieutenant of Inishmore on Broadway, for the RSC and at the Taper) will direct the West Coast premiere of Dates and Nuts, a romantic comedy by Gary Lennon (Orange is the New Black for Netflix, Echo Theater Company's A Family Thing). Opening night is set for May 31 at the Bootleg Theater.

Bay Street Theatre has announced the full cast and creative team for the World Premiere of CONVICTION (May 27-June 15) by Carey Crim and directed by Scott Schwartz, Bay Street's new Artistic Director. Folger Theatre Artistic Producer Janet Alexander Griffin today announced the 2014/15 season. With six full Shakespeare productions on stage at the Folger to celebrate the Bard's 450th, Folger Theatre will start the upcoming season with two special, limited engagements by London's Shakespeare's Globe. First, the acclaimed staging of Hamlet, seen at the Folger in 2012, returns in late July for just three performances as part of their Globe to Globe Hamlet, the ambitious two-year tour bringing the Danish prince to every country in the world. Then, once again in a September residency, Shakespeare's Globe will perform King Lear for eighteen shows. Joseph Marcell (TV's The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air and Jacques in Folger Theatre's 2007 As You Like It) plays the title role.
The award-winning fringe venue Theatre503 has announced full casting for their SECOND LOOK production of Billy Roche's play A HAND FULL OF STARS. As previously announced Coronation Street actor and Boyzone star Keith Duffy (BIG MAGGIE, Druid Theatre Company) is to make his London stage debut as Stapler. Joining Keith will be actors Ciaran Owens (OH WHAT A LOVELY WAR at Stratford East and OUR COUNTRY'S GOOD for Out of Joint) as Jimmy, Michael O'Connor (ONCE, Phoenix Theatre) as Swan and Brian Fenton (THE CRIPPLE OF INISHMAAN, Noel Coward Theatre) as Tony. Artistic Director Paul Robinson's production will run at Battersea's Theatre503 from Wednesday 30 April until Saturday 24 May 2014.
