The New Colony, dedicated to creating world premieres for the Chicago stage, is pleased to announce its first-ever four production season for 2016.

London's world-renowned venue Shakespeare's Globe makes its Edinburgh Festival Fringe debut with two shows from the acclaimed family-friendly series Shakespeare Untold, running today 5 - 31 August 2015 (previews 5 - 7 August; no shows 12, 19 & 26 August) at Pleasance Courtyard. Shakespeare Untold features Romeo and Juliet (The Party Planner's Tale) and Titus Andronicus (The Piemaker's Tale) by Harper Ray and Adam Sibbald, based on the plays of William Shakespeare. Renowned production house Fuel are producing the work of a Fringe first timer at this year's festival.

Up in Arms and Arcola Theatre today announce the full cast for the world premiere of Barney Norris's new play, Eventide. Alice Hamilton directsHasan Dixon (Mark), James Doherty (John) and Ellie Piercy (Liz). The production opens on 25 September at Arcola Theatre, with previews from 23 September, and runs until 17 October, ahead of a national tour to Theatre Royal Bury St Edmunds, The North Wall, Salisbury Playhouse and The Brewery, Bristol Tobacco Factory.

Hailed recently by The New York Times as "ingenious," New York City's Ensemble for the Romantic Century (ERC) returns to the Berkshires for the third consecutive summer with the regional premiere of the theatrical concert Van Gogh's Ear. In partnership with the American Institute for Economic Research and the Clark Art Institute, the 10-day, 12-performance series of Van Gogh's Ear complements Clark's art exhibition Van Gogh and Nature and features a special pre-performance discussion August 25th led by the Clark's curator at large, Richard Kendall.

Further casting has been announced for Brave New World, a co-production by Royal & Derngate, Northampton and Touring Consortium Theatre Company, with Abigail McKern, William Postlethwaite,Gruffudd Glyn, Olivia Morgan and Scott Karim joining the previously announced Sophie Ward in the ensemble cast, and Frantic Assembly's Eddie Kay joining the creative team for this world premiere production. Aldous Huxley's ground-breaking novel, newly adapted for the stage by Dawn King with original music by These New Puritans, is opening in Northampton this September before a major national tour.

This October, Nuffield's Director Samuel Hodges, now in his second year leading the company, will direct a production of Tennessee Williams' The Glass Menagerie. The production marks Hodges' directorial debut with Nuffield, which will feature design by Ultz (Olivier Award winner, Jerusalem, Royal Court).

Recent RADA graduate Freddie Stewart has been cast in the title role in Shakespeare's Henry V, in a site specific production that marks award-winning Antic Disposition's 10th anniversary.

The Michael Grandage Company today announces the full company for the UK premiere of Anna Ziegler's Photograph 51. Nicole Kidman who leads the company as Rosalind Franklin is joined by Will Attenborough (James Watson), Edward Bennett (Francis Crick), Stephen Campbell Moore (Maurice Wilkins), Patrick Kennedy (Don Caspar) and Joshua Silver (Ray Gosling). Photograph 51 opens at the Noel Coward Theatre on 14 September, with previews from 5 September, and runs until 21 November.

Susie Blake will play 'The Queen' in the Tricycle Theatre's Olivier award-winning production of Moira Buffini's West End hit comedy, Handbagged, which embarks on a major 13-week national tour this autumn from 9 September to 5 December 2015.

McQUEEN, which received its world premiere in May at St. James Theatre, where it broke box office records, will transfer to London's West End, opening at the Theatre Royal Haymarket on Thursday 27 August, following previews from 13 August, for a strictly limited season until 7 November.
