Cast Announced for Frontier Theatre Productions' THE LOVERS OF VIORNE

Today Frontier Theatre Productions announces the full cast for its first production of Marguerite Duras' The Lovers of Viorne in a translation by Barbara Bray, opening on 4 May, with a preview on 3 May, and running until 21 May.  James Roose-Evans directs Charlotte Cornwell (Claire), Kevin Trainor (Interrogator) and Martin Turner (Pierre Lannes).

National Theatre Wales to Present BEFORE I LEAVE

National Theatre Wales' next production, Before I Leave, will be a moving and uplifting production written by Patrick Jones and directed by Matthew Dunster (who directed the multi-award-winning Mametz for NTW in June 2014). It will feature covers of well-known songs by artists ranging from Tom Jones to the Sex Pistols, plus a new song by Nicky Wire and James Dean Bradfield of Manic Street Preachers, and will be performed at the Sherman Theatre, Cardiff.

Full Cast Set for AFTER INDEPENDENCE at Arcola Theatre

Papatango today announces the full cast for the world premiere of After Independence by May Sumbwanyambe. George Turvey directs Stefan Adegbola (Charles), Sandra Duncan (Kathleen), Peter Guinness (Guy) and Beatriz Romilly (Chipo) in the production which opens at the Arcola Theatre on 6 May, with previews from 4 May, and runs until 28 May 2016.

James Norton, Kate Fleetwood and More Lead BUG, Beginning Tonight at Found111

Tense and blackly comic, BUG by multi-award-winner Tracy Letts (August Osage County, Killer Joe), is a taut exploration of two people on the edge; where the lines between reality and delusions become blurred. BUG celebrates its 20th anniversary with a production at Found111 from tonight, March 24, through May 7, 2016. Press night is March 29. Ensemble for the Romantic Century to Present THE HEART IS NOT MADE OF STONE, 4/27

New York City, NY — Celebrating its 15th season, the Ensemble for the Romantic Century (ERC) returns to BAM Fisher for six performances of Anna Akhmatova: The Heart is Not Made of Stone. Written by Eve Wolf and directed by Donald T. Sanders, this multi-media production examines the troubled relationship between artistic creation and totalitarianism through the perspective of the Russian poet Anna Akhmatova (1889-1966). This tale of passion, love, political repression, and redemption is interwoven with music by Russian composers' Rachmaninoff, Prokofiev, and Shostakovich.

Theatre Clwyd Announce All-Welsh Cast of CYRANO DE BERGERAC

Theatr Clwyd Artistic Director Tamara Harvey today announces the full casting for Edmond Rostand's Cyrano de Bergerac which also features new Welsh poetry from Twm Morys. Steffan Rhodri leads the all-Welsh company in the role of Cyrano, with Sara Lloyd-Gregory as Roxanne and Marc Rhys as Christian, alongside Wayne Cater, Steven Elliott, Victoria John, Rhys Parry Jones, Daniel Llewelyn-Williams, Gwawr Loader, Sion Pritchard, Aled Pugh, Simon Holland Roberts and Dafydd Llyr Thomas.

Paines Plough & Latitude Festival's WITH A LITTLE BIT OF LUCK to Launch UK Tour

Ahead of the full 2016 season announcement from Paines Plough, With A Little Bit Of Luck by Sabrina Mahfouz will begin a UK tour on 13 April at The Garage in Norwich. Part play and part gig With A Little Bit Of Luck is produced by Paines Plough and Latitude Festival and will tour to 29 venues across the UK. The tour will finish at London's iconic Roundhouse from 14 - 18 June as part of The Last Word Festival.

Everyman & Playhouse Announces Upcoming Collaborations

The Everyman & Playhouse will spread Liverpool's cultural name beyond the city region again this year with a series of major collaborations. Working with Shakespeare's Globe to mark the bard's 400th anniversary year the theatres will co-produce The Two Gentlemen of Verona, directed by Associate Nick Bagnall which tours nationally and internationally before dates at the Everyman. Alumnus Jonathan Pryce leads the cast of The Globe's The Merchant of Venice at the Playhouse ahead of a world tour. The theatres will also co-produce Frank McGuinness's Observe the Sons of Ulster Marching Towards the Somme with Headlong, Abbey Theatre, Dublin and Citizens Theatre, Glasgow at the Playhouse in June ahead of a national tour.

Cast Set for World Premiere of DARKNET at Southwark Playhouse

Potential Difference today announces the world premiere of Darknet, a new play by Rose Lewenstein. Russell Bender directs Robin Berry as Steve/Mitch, Greer Dale-Foulkes as Candy, Jim English as Jamie, Naveed Khan as Gary/John, Ella McLoughlin as Kyla, Gyuri Sarossy as Allen, Rosie Thomson as Stacey. Darknet opens at Southwark Playhouse on 18 April, with previews from 14 April, and runs until 7 May 2016.

Piff the Magic Dragon , the standout star of 2015's America's Got Talent, brings his eclectic one-man magic show to Mayo Performing Arts Center on Sunday, April 17, 2016 at 7 pm. Tickets are $29 - $49. This show is recommended for tweens and above.

Theatr Clwyd to Stage Shakespeare's MUCH ADO ABOUT NOTHING

In Theatr Clwyd's 40th anniversary year, Artistic Director Tamara Harvey today announces her directorial debut - a major new production of William Shakespeare's Much Ado About Nothing. Never before produced by Theatr Clwyd, in the 400th anniversary year of Shakespeare's death this will also be Clwyd's 400th production. Much Ado opens on 14 June, with previews from 9 June and runs until 2 July.
