ASFA's AS YOU LIKE IT Set for This Weekend

This May, the ASFA Theatre Arts presents two productions by William Shakespeare in the Dorothy Jemison Day Theater. JONATHAN FULLER (recently returned from a month's Fellowship at Shakespeare's Globe Theatre in London) directs one of the Bard's most crowd-pleasing shows, As You Like It. Appropriately named, Shakespeare indeed wrote this one with a wide audience in mind. Whether you like secret plots, disguises, fights, comedy, witty dialogue, and love, Love, LOVE, this was written to have something you like in it. This production will be utilizing techniques learned by Mr. Fuller at The Globe the is past fall

Full Cast Announced for THE DONKEY SHOW - A MIDSUMMER NIGHT'S DISCO in London

?Award winning comedian, Vikki Stone (Oberon/Mia) is joined by Siobhan Athwal (Dmitri/Vinnie), Bronte Barbe (Helen/Vinnie), Melissa Bayern (Tytania/Sander), Natalie Chua (Disco Girl), Samuel Fogell (DJ Hernando/Cobweb), James Gillan (Lady Puck), Dominique Kinisky (Peaseblossom), Nyron Levy (Moth), Adrian Martel (Mustardseed), Harry Morley (Fidget) and Jessica Spalis (Rico Suave) to complete the cast for The Donkey Show.

European Premiere of LAST OF THE BOYS by Steven Dietz Comes to Southwark Playhouse

Sarah Stribley Productions and Anna Haigh Productions in association with Alchemist Theatricals present the European premiere of LAST OF THE BOYS by Steven Dietz. Directed by John Haidar and designed by Max Dorey with lighting design by Christopher Nairne and sound design by Max Perryment, the production plays Southwark Playhouse Wednesday 11 May - Saturday 4 June 2016.

Full Cast Announced for New Musical GROUNDHOG DAY at the Old Vic

Full casting is today announced for the world premiere of the new musical GROUNDHOG DAY, which previews at the Old Vic from July 11 with a press night on August 16. Carlyss Peer will play Rita Hanson, alongside the previously announced Andy Karl in the role of Phil Connors. Eugene McCoy plays cameraman Larry, and the ensemble cast includes Leo Andrew, David Birch, Ste Clough, Roger Dipper, Georgina Hagen, Kieran Jae, Julie Jupp, Andrew Langtree, Vicki Lee Taylor, Emma Lindars, Antonio Magro, Carolyn Maitland, Kirsty Malpass, Lisa Mathieson,  Jenny O'Leary, Leanne Pinder, Mark Pollard, Damien Poole, Jack Shalloo, Andrew Spillett and Spencer Stafford.

Richard Bean's TOAST Makes US Debut Tonight at 59E59 Theaters

59E59 Theaters will host the US premiere of TOAST, written by Richard Bean and directed by Eleanor Rhode. Produced by Snapdragon Productions, in association with Jagged Fence Theatre for the 2016 Brits Off Broadway festival, TOAST begins performances today, April 20 for a limited engagement through Sunday, May 22.  Press opening is Today, April 27 at 7 PM. 

Utah Shakespeare Festival Will Stage SHAKESPEARE IN LOVE in 2017

The Utah Shakespeare Festival has been selected as one of three theatres to present the United States premiere of the play Shakespeare in Love, adapted from the Academy Award-winning film of the same name by Lee Hall, it was announced today.
