Lance Horne Celebrates FIRST THINGS LAST CD at Rockwood in LA with Ricki Lake & More Tonight

LANCE HORNE - the Emmy Award winning composer, musician, vocalist and producer - will headline a special concert evening at Rockwood Table & Stage in Los Angeles tonight, April 15 at 8:00 PM with guest artists Ricki Lake, Julie Garnye and Lisa Ann Walter, with special surprise stars. They will perform songs from his acclaimed CD First Things Last in addition to a special preview of The Night Before My Wedding, Horne's upcoming collaboration with Neil Gaiman.

LANCE HORNE - the Emmy Award winning composer, musician, vocalist and producer - will headline a special concert evening at Rockwell Table & Stage in Los Angeles on Tuesday, April 15 at 8:00 PM. Special guests Ashley Fink ('Glee'), Shane Jenek (Courtney Act from 'RuPaul's Drag Race') and Adam Kantor (The Last Five Years) have joined the evening, in adition to previously announced Ricki Lake, Julie Garnye (Les Miserables at the Hollywood Bowl) and Lisa Ann Walter (The Parent Trap) with special surprise stars. They will perform songs from his acclaimed CD First Things Last in addition to a special preview of The Night Before My Wedding, Horne's upcoming collaboration with Neil Gaiman. Lance's March 31 evening at Birdland Jazz Club in New York featred Alan Cumming, Rachel Dratch, Stephen Wallem, Alice Ripley and more. He recently contributed a movement to Tyler's Suite, a choral song-cycle dedicated to Tyler Clementi, the 18-year-old Rutgers University student that took his life three years ago. The piece, which also includes contributions from Stephen Schwartz, Ann Hampton Callaway and Craig Carnelia, was premiered by the San Francisco Gay Men's Chorus in March. Lea DeLaria, Joey Arias, Stephen Wallem and Michael Rose have joined the evening as special guests, in addition to the previously-announced Alan Cumming, Alice Ripley and Rachel Dratch. They will perform songs from his acclaimed CD First Things Last in addition to a special preview of The Night Before My Wedding, Horne's upcoming collaboration with Neil Gaiman. Lance will also headline a special concert at Rockwood LA on April 15 with guest stars to be announced and an additional event this spring in San Francisco. With only one more week until the iconic Blue and Yellow Big Top is raised adjacent to Citi Field in Queens, Cirque du Soleil has just announced that Amaluna, written and directed by 2013 Tony Award winner Diane Paulus (Pippin, The Gershwin's Porgy and Bess, Hair) will extend its New York engagement through Sunday, May 18. Performances begin Thursday, March 20; with an official premiere Thursday, March 27.

Following the enormous popular and critical success of TOTEM earlier this year, Cirque du Soleil has announced the return of its trademark blue-and-yellow big top to New York this spring with Amaluna, directed by 2013 Tony Award winner Diane Paulus (Pippin, The Gershwins' Porgy and Bess, Hair) beginning performances Thursday, March 20 on the grounds of Citi Field in Queens.
