The new musical THE ADDAMS FAMILY, based on the bizarre and beloved family of characters created by legendary cartoonist Charles Addams, will open Thursday, April 8, 2010 at Broadway's Lunt-Fontanne Theatre (205 West 46th Street). Previews begin Thursday, March 4, 2010 following a pre-Broadway engagement at the Ford Center for the Performing Arts, Oriental Theatre in Chicago that begins Friday, November 13, 2009.

To commemorate the Shubert Theatre Box Office opening for the new Broadway musical MEMPHIS there will be special performances by Bon Jovi founding member David Bryan, the Cast of MEMPHIS, and VH1 Save the Music Foundation student keyboard ensemble from Jersey City's MS 41. on Wednesday, August 26th at 12pm.

Presented by Broadway In Chicago and TheatreDreams, the blockbuster hit JERSEY BOYS is now in its second smash year in Chicago. JERSEY BOYS, the story of Frankie Valli and The Four Seasons, premiered in Chicago on October 5, 2007 and became a resident production on February 27, 2008. JERSEY BOYS tells the story of Frankie Valli and The Four Seasons: Frankie Valli, Bob Gaudio, Tommy DeVito and Nick Massi. This is the story of how a group of blue-collar boys from the wrong side of the tracks became one of the biggest American pop music sensations of all time. They wrote their own songs, invented their own sounds and sold 175 million records worldwide - all before they were thirty.

The Broadway production of JERSEY BOYS will perform an additional performance on Sunday, August 23 at 8pm to benefit The Actors Fund. All of the actors' salaries and all of ticket sales will be donated to The Actors Fund benefiting people in film, theater, television, music, opera, and dance.

The Maria Torres Emerging Artist Project is a new dance theatre company being founded at Amas Musical Theatre. This company will develop The Magic of Salsa Kingdom featuring music by Willy Torres NYC Salsa Project at Amas. The Premiere of this exciting new work takes place at the Salsa Kingdom Festival in Southport, England in September 2009.

The Boston engagement of JERSEY BOYS set a new box office record at the Shubert Theatre, grossing $1,313,979 for the week ending August 2, 2009. The previous record of $604,396.75 was held by Riverdance. JERSEY BOYS opened to rave reviews on Wednesday, July 29 and it will play through Saturday evening, September 26.

Sergio Trujillo, the acclaimed choreographer of Jersey Boys, Next to Normal and the forthcoming musicals The Addams Family and Memphis, will make his directorial debut with Havana, a new musical (not based on the film of the same name) with a book by Pulitzer Prize-winning Cuban author Nilo Cruz, music by internationally-renowned Frank Wildhorn and lyrics by Jack Murphy. Produced by Kathleen Raitt, William Franzblau/Jay Harris, Ben Sprecher/Louise Forlenza and Steven E. Leber/Jordan Leber, Havana, which is aiming for the 2010-11 Broadway season, will have a private industry presentation this week in New York.
