Roundabout Theatre Company (Todd Haimes, Artistic Director) announces Tony and Academy Award winner Joel Grey will return to Broadway to join the cast of the new Broadway production of Anything Goes, starring Tony Award winner Sutton Foster as 'Reno Sweeney.' Anything Goes will mark Mr. Grey's seventh Broadway production.

From April 28, 2011 through May 28, 2011, the Melbourne Theatre Company will present the Australian premiere of the 2010 Pulitzer-Prize winning Broadway hit, Next To Normal. The production, which is being directed by Dean Bryant and musical directed by Matthew Frank, will star Matt Hetherington and Kate Kendall. Additional casting announcements are forthcoming.

Jack Viertel, Artistic Director of New York City Center's Encores! series, today announced directors for the 2010-11 Encores! season: Kathleen Marshall will direct and choreograph the season opener, Bells Are Ringing, with music by Jule Styne and book and lyrics by Betty Comden and Adolph Green, opening on November 18, 2010. Gary Griffin will direct Lost in the Stars, with music by Kurt Weill and book and lyrics by Maxwell Anderson, opening on February 3, 2011. John Doyle will direct Where's Charley, based on Brandon Thomas' Charley's Aunt, with book by George Abbott and music and lyrics by Frank Loesser, opening on March 17, 2011. Music Director Rob Berman will conduct all three musicals.

Tickets will go on sale Sunday, September 12, for the Tony Award and Pulitzer Prize-winning musical 'Next to Normal,' which is being presented at the Center Theatre Group/Ahmanson Theatre, November 23, 2010, through January 2, 2011. The opening is scheduled for November 28.

Second Stage Theatre (Carole Rothman, Artistic Director) has announced that Zach Braff, Bobby Cannavale, Sutton Foster, and Ari Graynor will co-star in the world premiere comedy TRUST, written by Paul Weitz, directed by Peter DuBois. Mr. Weitz returns to Second Stage Theatre, where his plays Privilege and Show People premiered in 2005 and 2006, respectively. Directed by Peter DuBois, who staged Second Stage's acclaimed production of Becky Shaw, TRUST will begin previews on Friday, July 23 at Second Stage Theatre (305 West 43rd street) and officially open on Thursday, August 12. The production runs through September 5.

Michael De Luca prodeces the film, which, according to The Hollywood Reporter 'follows a college student, suspended for the semester and living at home with his single mom, who has a night to remember when he gets talked into baby-sitting the eccentric kids next door: two boys and a wild 8-year-old girl.'

Mari Marchbanks (Founder and Executive Director) announced today the inaugural recipients of the newly established Horton Foote Prizes, named in honor of the legendary writer, to award excellence in American Theater. Presented biennially, the first Horton Foote Prize is awarded to Ruined by Lynn Nottage for Outstanding New American Play and Middletown by Will Eno for Promising New American Play.

Yesterday evening, August 23, the Times Talk hosted a Q&A and discussion with the ANYTHING GOES team, two-time Tony Award-winning director Kathleen Marshall and Tony-winning star Sutton Foster at The Times Center. Next Spring, Roundabout Theatre Company will present a new Broadway production of ANYTHING GOES, starring Foster as 'Reno Sweeney.' Directed & choreographed by Marshall, ANYTHING GOES will begin performances March 10th, 2011 and officially open on April 7th, 2011 on Broadway at the Stephen Sondheim Theatre.
