NNPN Announces Rolling World Premiere of WOLF PLAY by Hansol Jung

National New Play Network, the country's alliance of nonprofit theaters that collaborate in innovative ways to develop, produce, and extend the life of new plays, announces its 88th Rolling World Premiere (RWP):  Wolf Play by Hansol Jung. The play was commissioned by Artists Rep and begins its Roll there this Sunday, March 10 in Portland, OR (running through April 7, 2019).

Pittsburgh CLO Launches Second New Musicals Weekend

Pittsburgh CLO will launch its second New Musicals Weekend, a project of the Next Generation Campaign's New Small Musicals Initiative. New Musicals Weekend, the mini version of the SPARK festival, takes the core goals of SPARK and puts them into action over just a few days. Similar to SPARK, New Musicals Weekend aims to develop new musicals for the CLO Cabaret by supporting writing teams with financial and creative resources and by building relationships with local and national artists. 

Pamela Reed And Michael Winters To Star In A DOLL'S HOUSE, PART 2

The 2017 Tony Award nominee for Best Play, A Doll's House, Part 2, makes its Seattle debut at Seattle Rep this spring, helmed by the extraordinary talents of Michael Winters (The Cider House Rules) and Pamela Reed (The Humans, 2017). Written by Tony Award nominee Lucas Hnath and directed by Seattle Rep Artistic Director Braden Abraham, A Doll's House, Part 2 runs March 15 - April 28, 2019 (opening night is March 20, 2019) on the Leo K. stage. The Reduced Shakespeare Company Comes The The Broad Stage

In this "tale told by idiots," The Reduced Shakespeare Company weaves all of The Bard's famous characters, greatest lines and magnificent speeches into a brand new Shakespearean smorgasbord. William Shakespeare's Long Lost First Play (abridged) is a comic misadventure that will feel strangely familiar yet excitingly new, presented by The Broad Stage for two performances only April 5 and 6 at 7:30pm.

THE CURIOUS INCIDENT OF THE DOG IN THE NIGHT-TIME Comes To Life Onstage At Village Theatre

Winner of five Tony Awards and Seven Olivier Awards, The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time will run at Village Theatre beginning this March. The production, directed by Village Theatre artistic director Jerry Dixon, will be his first directing credit since becoming the organization's artistic leader in June of 2018. Village Theatre's production features an all-new score by Curtis Moore (Broadway: Lucky Guy with Tom Hanks), as well as choreography by Sonia Dawkins (Prism Dance Theatre).

It has been called the most important photograph ever taken-an image that led to a breakthrough in genetics research. Only Three Weeks Remain To Be Thrilled By THE WOMAN IN BLACK At The Royal George Theatre

Over eight million people have already lived to tell the tale of one of the most successful - and terrifying - theatre events ever staged,and Chicagoans are no exception. THE WOMAN IN BLACK- London's long-running West End play - has only three weeks left in its Chicago run before the production makes its way to the Seattle Repertory Theatre at the end of February. Complete with all the stage thrills that have led audiences in London to shriek in fear for 30 years, this chilling performance is one that has illuminated the mainstage at the Royal George Theatre after a dark period of nearly three years and will continue to do so until its final Chicago performance on February 17.
