Manhattan Theatre Club announced today that they will be presenting the world premiere of Humor Abuse, the new one-man-show created by performer Lorenzo Pisoni (Equus, Last Dance) and director Erica Schmidt (Debbie Does Dallas). Humor Abuse will begin previews on Thursday, February 19 and open Tuesday, March 10 in a limited engagement at New York City Center - Stage II (131 West 55th Street).

Patrons who have purchased tickets for performances through November 23rd, 2008 should return to their point of purchase for a refund.
Next month, Tony Award-winning director Mary Zimmerman returns to Berkeley Repertory Theatre with an alluring adaptation of The Arabian Nights. This is Zimmerman's sixth trip to Berkeley Rep, and for the first time she works her magic on the intimate Thrust Stage. The Arabian Nights runs from November 13 through January 4 with the official press night on November 19.

Ten Chimneys Foundation, the National Historic Landmark estate of Broadway legends Alfred Lunt and Lynn Fontanne, has chosen Mary Beth Fisher as one of its eleven inaugural fellows to participate in the LUNT-FONTANNE FELLOWSHIP PROGRAM, a groundbreaking national program to serve regional theater actors and the future of American Theater. Fisher, who was nominated by Goodman Theatre, will receive a cash fellowship and participate in an intensive week-long master class and retreat at Ten Chimneys with a world-renowned and respected master teacher; acclaimed actress Lynn Redgrave will be the first master teacher in the Lunt-Fontanne Fellowship Program. South Coast Repertory will present The Heiress, the psychological drama of love, innocence and betrayal by Ruth Goetz and Augustus Goetz.
