Jim Creighton, David Haig, James Hayes, Doon Mackichan and Javone Prince will join previously announced Matt Di Angelo in Joe Orton's 'Loot', directed by Sean Holmes at the Tricycle Theatre. 'Loot' will run from 11 December until 31 January. Designs are by Anthony Lamble with lighting by Charles Balfour and sound by Greg Clarke. 'Loot' will tour to Newcastle Theatre Royal from 2-7 February after its opening at the Tricycle.
Sean Holmes to Succeed David Farr as Artistic Director of Hammersmith

What On Stage is reporting that Sean Holmes will succeed David Farr as the Artistic Director of London't Lyric Hammersmith. Holmes will begin in the Spring of 2009. David Farr announced he was leaving the position this past May after three years at the Hammersmith. He will now be the Associate Director fo the Royal Shakespeare Company.

Keith Allen to Star in West End's 'Long John Silver'; Full Casting Announced

Keith Allen will make his West End stage debut starring as 'Long John Silver' in Ken Ludwig's new stage adaptation of 'TREASURE ISLAND' by Robert Louis Stevenson at the Theatre Royal Haymarket. The play will open on Monday 17 November, following previews from 7 November. Also in the cast are Michael Legge as 'Jim Hawkins', Tony Bell as 'Bones/Captain Smollett', Paul Brennen as 'Ben Gunn/Black Dog', John Lightbody as 'Blind Pew/Trelawney', Dermot Kerrigan as 'Flint/Dr Livesy', James Atherton, Mark Bagnall, Matt Costain, Estella Daniels, Branwell Donaghey, Howard Gossington, James Lailey, Mark Theodore and Sharlene Whyte.
