BUGSY MALONE returns to the Lyric Hammersmith for a limited 12-week run following the critically acclaimed, Olivier-nominated 2015 production, which marked the reopening of the revamped building and the UK's first professional stage production of Bugsy Malone in over a decade. Starring a diverse range of talented young performers aged nine and over, the lead roles are being performed by three different casts in rotation. The Lyric's main house will be transformed for this production with part of the audience seated on the stage, creating a bold intimate experience within their Victorian auditorium.

Commemorating the centenary of the Battle of the Somme, the world premiere of IT IS EASY TO BE DEAD by award-winning playwright Neil McPherson opens at the Finborough Theatre for a four week limited season on Wednesday, 15 June 2016. Born in Aberdeen, Charles Sorley was studying in Germany when the First World War broke out and was briefly imprisoned as an enemy alien. He was one of the first to join the army in 1914. Killed in action a year later at the age of 20, his poems are among the most ambivalent, profound and moving war poetry ever written.

Immersive promenade production ON CORPORATION STREET marks 20 years since the Provisional IRA exploded the largest-ever bomb on mainland Britain, on a warm sunny morning in Manchester city centre. This is the second collaboration between ANU and HOME, following 2014's Angel Meadow.
