BUGSY MALONE returns to the Lyric Hammersmith for a limited 12-week run following the critically acclaimed, Olivier-nominated 2015 production, which marked the reopening of the revamped building and the UK's first professional stage production of Bugsy Malone in over a decade.  Starring a diverse range of talented young performers aged nine and over, the lead roles are being performed by three different casts in rotation. Several members of 2015 production are returning, alongside talented youngsters making their professional debut.

Lyric Hammersmith to Present SHOPPING AND F***ING

As the Lyric's smash-hit Bugsy Malone, returns to the stage for a limited 12 week run, the theatre announces a new production to complete their autumn season - Mark Ravenhill's Shopping and f**king. The Lyric's main house will be transformed for this production with part of the audience seated on the stage, creating a bold intimate experience within their Victorian auditorium.

Neil McPherson's IT IS EASY TO BE DEAD Premieres at Finborough Theatre

Commemorating the centenary of the Battle of the Somme, the world premiere of IT IS EASY TO BE DEAD by award-winning playwright Neil McPherson opens at the Finborough Theatre for a four week limited season on Wednesday, 15 June 2016. Born in Aberdeen, Charles Sorley was studying in Germany when the First World War broke out and was briefly imprisoned as an enemy alien. He was one of the first to join the army in 1914. Killed in action a year later at the age of 20, his poems are among the most ambivalent, profound and moving war poetry ever written.

IT IS EASY TO BE DEAD to Premiere at Finborough Theatre

Fresh from tours of India and a run in New York, Filter Theatre's 90-minute take on the Bard's joyous comedy TWELFTH NIGHT is a feast for the eyes and ears. This riotous and energetic interpretation was originally commissioned by Michael Boyd, Artistic Director of the Royal Shakespeare Company and will run Wed 11 - Sat 14 May 2016 at HOME in Manchester.
