The pair is newest addition to Tony's diNapoli's prestigious Broadway Wall of Fame and BroadwayWorld was on hand to capture the portrait unveiling!

Sean Hayes and Kristin Chenoweth, along with the cast of PROMISES, PROMISES will be honored later this month at a by-invitation-only private event at Tony's diNapoli Restaurant, 147 West 43rd Street, between 6th Avenue and Broadway. The pair will be the newest addition to Tony's diNapoli's pretigious Broadway Wall of Fame.

Tony and Emmy Award winner Kristin Chenoweth is scheduled to co-host 'Live With Regis and Kelly' on June 24. Chenoweth will be filling in for Kelly Ripa.

'Time to Give' is an historic collaboration between renowned Swiss watchmaker Audemars Piguet and the Tony Awards. Festivities begin at 6:30 p.m. with cocktails, buffet dinner and silent auction, gondola boat rides from 7:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m., followed by musical presentation by host, Tony Award-winner Cady Huffman (The Producers). Kristin Chenoweth and Sean Hayes, co-stars of the current Broadway revival of Promises, Promises, are scheduled to perform. Special guest Matthew Morrison, star of the TV series Glee, will also join the festivities.

Voting is fully underway for BroadwayWorld's 2010 Theatre Fans' Choice Awards, with thousands of votes already in and recording voting numbers already being set. So far there have been early leads established for some surprising and not so suprising early leaders.

Theatre and television star Bryan Batt recently spoke out against an article in Newsweek by author Ramin Setoodeh, claiming gay actors are unable to successfully portray straight roles. A number of actors have spoken out against the article, which specifically notes Sean Hayes' performance in PROMISES, PROMISES as an example.

As BroadwayWorld previously reported, GLEE creator Ryan Murphy recently called for a boycott of Newsweek Magazine, after the publication ran a piece by Ramin Setoodeh, in which the contributing writing questioned the believability of gay actors playing straight men on stage and screen. Setoodeh posed the question: 'Heterosexual actors play gay all the time. Why doesn't it ever work in reverse?'
