From a musical comedy super group putting their own spin on Aussie tunes in Perfect Tripod: Australian Songs at Arts Centre Melbourne's Playhouse, to author Andy Griffith's children's wonderland in the stage play The 13-Storey Treehouse, the Arts Centre Melbourne is set to become a comedy hub sure to have everyone in stitches from Wednesday 26 March to Sunday 20 April.

JULIAN PO with Chad Kimball Extends at NYMF Through 7/10

The New York Musical Theatre Festival and Retrop Productions have announced that JULIAN PO, the new musical with book and lyrics by Andrew Barrett and music by Ira Antelis, is the first show in the festival to be extended. Due to high demand for tickets, the five-performance run - scheduled between July 8 and 14, 2013 - now has an additional show added on Wednesday, July 10 at 5:00 PM. In addition, Sean Cullen ('Boardwalk Empire') and Issadora Tulalian (How the Grinch Stole Christmas at the Old Globe) have been added to the cast.

The American National Theatre (Sean Cullen, Founder/Artistic Director) to present readings of THE IMMIGRANT (4PM), written by Mark Harelik, directed by Randal Myler; and THE LEGACY, or WHAT THE JEWS BELIEVE (7:30PM), written & directed by Mark Harelik, on Monday, February 25, 2013. The ANT readings will take place at Theatre Row's Clurman Theatre (410 West 42 Street). Tickets are FREE to the public.

On Thursday, December 6, BroadwayWorld.com was there for the opening night of Lincoln Center Theater's 75th Anniversary production of the Clifford Odets classic Golden Boy, directed by Bartlett Sher, at the Belasco Theatre (111 West 44 Street), the same theatre where the play premiered in 1937.
