The National Theatre production of THE CURIOUS INCIDENT OF THE DOG IN THE NIGHT-TIME is the Tony Award-winning new play by Simon Stephens, adapted from Mark Haddon's best-selling novel. Directed by Tony winner Marianne Elliott, the critically acclaimed production will come to Dr. Phillips Center as part of a North American Tour. The Orlando engagement will play the Walt Disney Theater November 1 - 6, 2016.

As the Lyric's smash-hit Bugsy Malone, returns to the stage for a limited 12 week run, the theatre announces a new production to complete their autumn season - Mark Ravenhill's Shopping and f**king. The Lyric's main house will be transformed for this production with part of the audience seated on the stage, creating a bold intimate experience within their Victorian auditorium.

Full casting has been announced for Andrew Bovell's Things I Know To Be True, an exciting international co-production between Frantic Assembly and State Theatre Company of South Australia. Matthew Barker, Natalie Casey, Richard Mylan, Kirsty Oswald, Ewan Stewart and Imogen Stubbs will star in the play's UK premiere at the Lyric Hammersmith from 10th September until 1st October 2016 before embarking upon a UK tour.

Robert Mackintosh and Idili Theatricals Limited, in association with Theatr Clwyd and Wales Millennium Centre, are presenting the 20thAnniversary production of Jonathan Larson's ground-breaking Pulitzer Prize- and Tony Award-winning musical RENT. After opening at Theatr Clwyd for a limited season from 21 October to 12 November 2016, RENT will go on a three-week tour, prior to a Christmas Season at St. James Theatre, London from 8 December 2016 to 28 January 2017, with a national press night on Tuesday 13 December 2016. 2017 tour dates are to be announced. The new production will be directed by Bruce Guthrie.

Frantic Assembly Appoints New Executive Director

Internationally renowned theatre company Frantic Assembly has appointed Pete Staves as Executive Director and joint Chief Executive. Staves joins Frantic Assembly from his current position at Arts Council England and will take up his post in May 2016, working together with Artistic Director Scott Graham to bring the company's ambitious plans for the future to fruition.
