According to Deadline, Scott Eastwood, son of Clint Eastwood, has landed the lead male role in the upcoming film adaptation of Nicholas Sparks' latest romance novel THE LONGEST RIDE.

Deadline reports that Scott Eastwood, son of famed actor/director Clint Eastwood, has signed on for David Ayer's upcoming World War II film FURY, which also stars Brad Pitt, Shia LaBeouf, Michael Pena, Logan Lerman and Jon Bernthal. Eastwood will play 'Sergeant Miles'.
