The Hilliard Arts Council will present Les Miserables for its annual summer musical today, July 12 and the 13th at 8pm and July 14 at 3pm at Hilliard Darby High School located at 4200 Leppert Rd. Although the student version of Les Mis has been performed at many area high schools, the Hilliard Arts Council is the first community theater in central Ohio to present the professional version fully staged.

Named for playwright Lillian Hellman, The Lilly Awards were created to recognize the extraordinary contributions made by women to the American Theater. The musical is based on the Focus Features/Vulcan Productions motion picture Far From Heaven, written and directed by Todd Haynes. FAR FROM HEAVEN began previews on May 8, with an Opening Night set for tonight, June 2 at 7PM.
