New Adventures and Re:Bourne have announced a national tour of a thrilling new production of LORD OF THE FLIES, choreographed by Olivier nominated Scott Ambler, adapted and directed by Matthew Bourne and Scott Ambler, based on the classic novel by William Golding. Matthew Bourne announced today the second New Adventures Choreographer Award (NACA). Open to emerging choreographers of all ages the award follows the success of the inaugural award in 2012 that launched the career of James Cousins, now an internationally regarded choreographic talent.
Due to a change in the national touring schedule the Fox Cities Performing Arts Center announces that THE PHANTOM OF THE OPERA performance dates will move to June 11-22, 2014. The production remains part of the 2013-14 Kimberly-Clark Broadway Across America - Fox Cities Series having originally been scheduled January 8-19, 2014. The two-week run will include 16 performances including matinees on Saturday, Sunday and Thursday, June 12. Season Ticket Holder Week will be June 11-17.

THE PHANTOM OF THE OPERA will play the Cadillac Palace Theatre (151 West Randolph) for a limited 8-week engagement from January 9 - March 2, 2014.
The National Theatre's THIS HOUSE will be transferring to the Aldwych Theatre in the West End this September for a 16-week season. Stars Julian Wadham, Phil Daniels and Reece Dinsale will move with the production.
The National Theatre's production of The Curious Incident Of The Dog In The Night-Time leads the list with eight nominations, followed by the toe-tapping new musical Top Hat receiving seven, and the West End transfer of Chichester Festival Theatre's revival of Sweeney Todd in close competition with six. Other stand-out nominations include The Audience and Kiss Me, Kate receiving five each, and Constellations, The Bodyguard and Twelfth Night with four.
How does one write about a work of art? Cameron Macintosh's touring production of The Phantom of the Opera is exactly that and brought the house down at the Birmingham Hippodrome last night. The 19th March is apt for the final press night of the current tour as the show is also marking it's 11,000th performance in the West End. That itself shows the incredible draw that Phantom has some 27 years on.
