Broadway to Beijing - Here I Am, a new musical featuring some of NYC's brightest high school stars, made its debut on Saturday, November 13th.

On December 3rd, Scott Alan will be joined by some of the performers featured on 'What I Wanna Be When I Grow Up,' for a concert at Barnes and Nobles at Lincoln Triangle. Those scheduled to appear include Christiane Noll, Darius de Haas, Nikki Renee Daniels, Zak Resnick and Christopher Sieber, along with musical director Jesse Vargas. The 6pm concert will also include a CD signing immediately following the performance. The Barnes and Noble at Lincoln Triangle is located at 1972 Broadway at 66th Street in Manhattan. TACT/The Actors Company Theatre (Scott Alan Evans, Cynthia Harris and Simon Jones, Co-Artistic Directors), the critically-acclaimed company "dedicated to presenting neglected or rarely produced plays of literary merit," announced today that due to audience demand, its production of Vaclav Havel's The Memorandum will extend for seven (7) additional performances (through Saturday, December 4th at 8pm).

Kate Shindle (Legally Blonde), John Arthur Greene (West Side Story), and Matt Doyle (Bye Bye Birdie) will join host Marti Gould Cummings for this year's 2nd Annual A Very MARY Holiday benefit on Monday, November 29 at Dixon Place at 8:00pm. The starry holiday benefit raises money and awareness for The Ali Forney Center and their programs. This year, A Very MARY Holiday will add a new element of the program, presenting the Broadway Speaks OUT! Hero Award to a member of the Broadway community who continues to be an incomparable and unwavering supporter of LGBT rights and the equality of all.
