Mary Testa, Ryann Redmond & More Join REEFER MADNESS Reunion Concert at 54 Below

On April 19th & 20th, the cult classic musical Reefer Madness, with book and lyrics by Kevin Murphy and book and music by Dan Studney, will be presented in concert at 54 Below for 3 performances only. Just announced to the cast are Mary Testa (Queen of the Mist, Xanadu), Lauren Molina (The Skivvies, Rock of Ages), Andrew Aaron Berlin (A Christmas Story: the Musical), Saum Eskandani (Disaster!) Heather Parcells (Soul Doctor, A Chorus Line), and Ryann Redmond (If/Then, Bring it On).

Broadway Gives Back has announced that the Third Annual 'Broadway Charity Songs' concert will be recorded by Broadway Records as part of their 'Live from 54 Below' series. The concert will feature new songs written by Sting, Brian Yorkey, Andrew Lippa, Henry Krieger, Pasek & Paul, and others.

Last August, the 12.14 Foundation premiered Michael Unger and Eric Svejcar's A ROCKIN' Midsummer Night's Dream. This week, the new musical comes to New York City at 54 BELOW. With a ton of energy and some serious vocal talent, the kids involved with the 12.14 Foundation and the Broadway vetted adults bring fabulous new life to William Shakespeare's classic tale of love and fairy mischief.

The show begins tonight,August 1st at 7PM, and continues August 2nd at 2PM and 7PM , August 3rd at 2PM, August 8th at 7PM, August 9th at 2PM and 7PM and August 10th at 5PM. Marla Mindelle, Clark Thorell and More Join Newtown Kids for 12.14 Foundation's A ROCKIN' MIDSUMMER NIGHT'S DREAM

The 12.14 Foundation will be producing two shows for its summer season incorporating 200 children from the Newtown-area as a continuation of its mission to promote personal development through high-level performing arts programs. The first show A ROCKIN' Midsummer Night's Dream, a world premiere adaptation of one of Shakespeare's favorite plays will be performed tonight, August 1st, through August 10th.
