Viola Davis, Eddie Redmayne Among 2012 BAFTA Nominees

The 2012 Orange British Academy Film Awards nominations were announced by Daniel Radcliffe and Holliday Grainger at BAFTA's headquarters in London. The Orange British Academy Film Awards take place on Sunday, February 12th at the Royal Opera House at Covent Garden, London. This is the fifteenth year of Orange's sponsorship of the Film Awards. The ceremony will be hosted by Stephen Fry.

MODERN FAMILY, HOMELAND, et al. Earn WGA Awards Nominations

The Writers Guild of America, West (WGAW) and the Writers Guild of America, East (WGAE) have announced nominations for outstanding achievement in television, news, radio, promotional writing, and graphic animation during the 2011 season. The winners will be honored at the 2012 Writers Guild Awards on Sunday, February 19, 2012, at simultaneous ceremonies in Los Angeles and New York.

The International Animated Film Society, ASIFA-Hollywood has just announced the nominations and award recipients for the 38th Annual Annie Awards. WaterTower Theatre Producing Artistic Director Terry Martin today announced a special Cabaret evening of Homemade Fusion, a concert of songs by Michael Kooman and Christopher Dimond. Homemade Fusion will be presented at WaterTower Theatre Friday, August 12 and 19 following the performance of Little Shop of Horrors, in association with Greyman Theatre Company. The performances will take place in the Addison Theatre Centre's upper lobby performance space at 10:30 pm. Admission is free. A cash bar will be available for both performances.
