BroadwayWorld.com can confirm Internet chatter that during the Muny run of HOLIDAY INN, numerous top New York and regional producers descended on the St. Louis venue to check out the show. Sources tell us that next steps have not been decided on for the tuner, but talks are underway for both potential Broadway and regional outings for the show.

Broadway In Chicago is thrilled to announce the quintessential backstage musical comedy classic 42nd STREET will celebrate a two-week engagement at the Cadillac Palace Theatre (151 W. Randolph) with a sparkling new production, March 8 - March 20, 2016. 42nd STREET will be directed by co-author Mark Bramble and choreographed by Randy Skinner, the team who staged the 2001 Tony Award winning Best Revival.

TROIKA Entertainment, LLC has announced that the national tour of the quintessential backstage musical comedy classic 42nd STREET will launch on September 22, 2015 at the Capitol Theatre in Salt Lake City, UT.  This sparkling new production is directed by co-author Mark Bramble and choreographed by Randy Skinner, the team who staged the 2001 Tony Award winning Best Revival.

Riverside Theatre, led by Producing Artistic Director/CEO Allen D. Cornell and Managing Director/COO Jon R. Moses, continues its 2014-2015 season with the Gershwin smash-hit musical, Crazy For You. Winner of the 1992 Tony Award for Best Musical, Crazy For You plays the Stark Stage from tonight, January 13 - February 1, 2015.

Greetings once again from East Haddam, CT, home of the Goodspeed Opera House and the world premiere production of Irving Berlin's Holiday Inn. This is our last week up here, and therefore my last blog. Don't be too sad though. I will be recapping the new season of "The Bachelor" beginning in January for BroadwayWorld! Every. Single. Week. Thanks to the efforts of the cast of Irving Berlin's HOLIDAY INN and the generosity of our Goodspeed's audience members, the theatre company has raised $23,935.58 this holiday season for Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS, it was announced today.

Obvious statement: relationships are hard. Like, real hard. But throw in some out-of-sync schedules, mix in a little 'gotta kiss some random person who is not my significant other cause it's my job', and finish it off with anywhere from hundreds to thousands of miles between the two of you, and it becomes near impossible. Hence, the long distance relationship is born. AKA the LDR, as us peeps in the business say. Or maybe only I do. Or maybe I just made that up because I type with three fingers and I'm already getting tired.
