As BroadwayWorld first revealed this morning, 25 years after Michael Crawford and Sarah Brightman opened the show in London, Cameron Mackintosh has announced that he will present Andrew Lloyd Webber's THE PHANTOM OF THE OPERA at the Royal Albert Hall on Saturday 1st October at 7.30pm and Sunday 2nd October at 1.30pm and 7.00pm. Broadway veteran Lauren Molina has just released a cover of 'She Loves You' for Beatles Complete on Ukulele. Check it out by visiting: www.thebeatlescompleteonukulele.com. Molina said of the recording: 'I wanted to take a very different approach to the song, with a female voice, taking out the pop, and making it much more moody, layering cellos, and driving drum machine beats.'

Lauren Molina has released her newest music video to the song 'Try to Say' off of her latest album 'Seat for Two.' According to Molina, the video concept was born out of the idea of an actor's nightmare, morphing int on 'Alice in Wonderland' like chacse through a mirror to find a run away heart. Molina teamed up with animator Noella Borie and the video was created using traditional paper cut animation.

The Bickford Theatre, 6 Normandy Heights Road in Morristown, NJ, opens its 2011 "A La Carte Series" on Sunday, March 6, at 2:00 p.m. with Hooray for Hollywood: Celebrating the Golden Years at the Movies! with Broadway veteran Gay Willis.

The hits just keep on coming for SPIDER-MAN, but some help is on the way to the show. The New York Times is reporting and we've confirmed that the show has officially brought on Paul Bogaev, a multi-award winning music director-producer, arranger and composer to work on improving the show's many sound issues, including to 'help improve the performance, vocal and orchestration arrangements, and sound quality of the songs and numbers'. Word has also been coming from multiple sources that it's expected that the production will officially announce another delay later in the week (it's sixth) that might push the official opening as far forward as AFTER this year's Tony Awards. The Times is also reporting that 'Bono and Edge are writing new music for 'Spider-Man' now, but Mr. Miramontez said that Mr. Bogaev's role was far greater than adding that music once it is ready. No significant additions have been made to the score so far.'

With some theatres already reporting that Midnight Tango is their fastest selling show of 2011, the producers of Midnight Tango have responded by adding further performances at certain venues on the nationwide tour, which begins in Southampton at the Mayflower Theatre on 6 April.
